For all I know, Tomoki Sempokuya may be the best transplant hematologist alive today. I know his job must be very hard turning down people who can't get the transplants they need.However, that is not an excuse for how embarrassingly poor his bedside manner is. I couldn't believe he had been doing this job for 8 years, I was sure that he was fresh out of his internship with how deer in the headlights he was when breaking bad news. He was compassionless, struggling to understand basic questions, repeating himself over and over again, shocked that a person who he had just given terrible news to might be upset, and gave not a single kind word.It was like being told you're going to die by a fax machine. I'd rather the janitor have done it.

Debbie K.The Doctors and Nurses were all nice and took good care of me. The Doctor came to see me everyday to see how I was doing. The Nurses were all nice and took good care of me. Whenever I needed something and pressed the Nurse bell they came fast to check in on me and helped me with what I needed. Every once in awhile they would stop by to see how I'm doing.
