Customer Reviews
I’ll preface this review by saying all of the hygienists and dentists are very, very nice - but this place is a factory. Typical of a practice run and owned by a larger organization/DSO (it’s not owned by a single dentist). They get you in and out and their priority is revenue over the patients. At a previous appointment, the Dr. recommended pulling a tooth. We didn’t jump on it immediately. While checking out, the patient next to us had just had his tooth pulled. After speaking with a few other parents from school, we found out that this was also recommended to them. Coincidence? Maybe. Just seems curious. We didn't end up doing it and the tooth came in just fine. This time our appointment was at 12:20. His cleaning was done at 12:32. The dentist had come and gone by 12:44. We were done by 12:47. Again, it's a bit hard to write this review because everyone we have run into there has been really nice, but it's pretty obvious how this practice operates - get them in and out in the shortest amount of time. A factory.
Our experience here was AMAZING, and exceeded our expectations in several dimensions! Dr. Clancy and his staff did a fantastic job with our very nervous young kids (first visit). Other good things to know: 1. Staff -- the staff was exceptional. From the lady who helped schedule the appt, to the receptionist to the hygienists and dentist. Everyone was very kid friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be doing their job. 2. The dentist -- we saw Dr. Clancy. He was exceptional. We did a phenomenal job working with our kids to make their feel comfortable from the start. He was gentle and seemed knowledgable. He was honest and we did not at all felt like he was trying to prescribe cavities that may or may not exist to get more return appts/$$ (like some dentists do) 3. Extras -- The kids were given new toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, each a teddy bear (not sure this happens every time) and got to pick a toy out of the "treasure chest" when they were done. They even took pictures of they kids during the appt and texted them to us afterwards. 4. Office -- the office itself is VERY kid friendly. The entire office is optimized for young kids - from toys to bright colors to video games to stickers. The office feels clean and fairly new. 5. Parking -- Parking is tough here. I recommend getting here a few minutes early just in case. Very few open spots and a little bit of a hassle. It costs $6/hr (w/ validation) to park in the (small) lot behind the building (if there are spots). Street parking is available but limited and often full.
Recently Sealants were done for molars for my youngest teen & a Great job was done as always. We have been coming to this awesome clinic since a decade. Both of our teens’ teeth while growing up were taken care of by the dentists with the highest respect & professionalism, providing utmost high standards of dental treatments. The admin staff always is welcoming & accommodating for appointments. Best pediatric dental clinic ever.
Fantastic care. The first visit was rough (simply because dentist visits for toddlers can be hard), but the second visit my toddler was giggling during his teeth cleaning. The staff was very understanding and supportive of both situations. Highly recommend.
The center for pediatric dental is an amazing place to take your children. Clean, great staff, efficient front desk with super friendly and accommodating receptionists. The doctors are kind and extremely patient. We are incredibly pleased.
Dr. Krausz is very professional and takes wonderful care of my adult son who has autism. My son is typically nervous at the dentist and Dr. Krausz makes him feel comfortable and calm. If we have an issue he makes time to see my son on the same day. Highly recommend him as a dentist!
My daughter had an emergency visit with Dr. Houshmand, and she was incredibly kind and gentle. The appointment went exceptionally smoothly—no pain, no anxiety. As a mom, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The office manager, Karen, was so helpful and even managed to book us an appointment on the same day! The dental assistant who worked with Dr. Houshmand was very calming and did a fantastic job as well. My heartfelt appreciation to everyone in that office!
Dr. Barton and Dr. Krausz are exceptional. Their ability to not only keep my children calm and comfortable but to also leave them begging to go back to the dentist is like nothing I have ever seen in other pediatric practices. Highly recommend this practice to anyone with kiddos who struggle to sit still or go to medical appointments.
We had a wonderful experience here with our infant and toddler! They are fantastic at working with children, acclimating them to the dental setting, and making them feel comfortable. Highly recommend
Both of our kids go here and they love it! The place is so clean and friendly. Our daughter’s braces treatment has been going really well! We totally recommend it!
