The Carrollton Dentist

Update: it gets worse. They have now sent me another bill claiming that my insurance company hasn’t paid them so I need to pay them. This is insurance fraud. I have confirmed the claim was paid in full so my insurance company tried to contact them. They didn’t answer after multiple attempts. I drove up here on a Thursday afternoon 2:00 and the office is closed despite being listed as open on their website. These people are awful. Ever since Dr. Rodriguez left, there has been nothing but a revolving door of dentists and hygienists. They run way behind schedule and expect us to wait 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment. On top of that, they don’t bill insurance. I have been back and forth with them to even get them to submit my balance to my insurance company. After 5 months of phone calls they finally submitted the claim. Now they are trying to get me pay above the insurance maximum. I’m so glad I have switched to new dentist and no longer have to deal with this. Save yourself the headache and find someplace else. They took a 5-star dental practice and have successfully run it into the ground.

I've been trying to pay my bill at this office for over a month, they send me letter after letter telling me I need to pay them NOW, but I go in person and the office is ALWAYS closed. I go online and the patient portal doesn't work! Horrible. If your going to be closed for an extended amount of time maybe let your patients know? Especially if you are going to keep sending bills and making it impossible to pay them. If I get sent to collections over this I'm going to be furious.

I've been coming to this place for 15+ years now. I don't know if it's because of these new doctors that have taken over now in 2024, but they are definitely not the same level of professionalism when it comes to effiency or time management. I was supposed to see Dr. Julio Obando on a scheduled appointment for a teeth cleaning at 2pm. I get there ten minutes early. I sat there and waited for nearly an hour before I decided to get up and leave. I don't know what he was possibly doing back there with his previous patent before me, but if you feel like the work in question is going to delay your next appointment by at least 30 minutes, you should probably say something, or just simply reschedule the appointment for another time. There was no communication from him at all regarding the delay. There was another guy that check-in, go into the back and leave before my name was even called. Obviously I don't know what he was there for but his appointment time was the exact same as mine and he was taken care of within the time I was sitting there waiting. I am not saying I'm the most important person in the world, but my time is valuable. I have work to do just like everyone else, and doctors need to understand and respect that. I should not have to wait nearly an hour past my scheduled time for something as simple as a teeth cleaning. It's simply unacceptable. The only reason its not a 1 star is that the lady at the from desk was very respectful and professional, and I understand nothing about this is her fault. Regardless I will not be going back here anymore as the doctors do not respect your time as they should.

I’ve been going here for about a year and a half after moving to the area. They do a great job examining and cleaning my teeth. I had two small fill-ins a few years back that I’ve been on the fence about for quite some time but were small enough that it was done just to prevent any further decay. My teeth are doing great. They confirmed that my routine flossing and brushing are working very well. I’ve been blessed with good teeth and I am happy that the Carrollton Dentist has been there to help keep them healthy!

Thank You to My Dentist. The new Dental Hygienist did a very good job. When I consider the difference in getting my teeth cleaned this time to before, the past was ok but this teeth cleaning takes me back to when and how Craftsmen use to preform. In every trade. So Again Thank You
