I have been seeing Dr. Phan since I was a child and he still never fails to recount my visits when he was back at Hollywood Dental. He is a welcoming person who truly cares about his patients. In addition to thoroughly examining your teeth he checks in on any personal stories you may have told him previously. He has given me genuine advice about my oral hygiene maintenance and even college life!The clinic is fairly new and he has maintained it beautifully. Their instruments (more specifically the Xray machine) are top-notch and seem to be of the latest models. There is plenty of parking and a good sized waiting area, not that you'll spend much time there. I highly recommend TLC Dentistry.

Pros:Everyone was super friendly and the building was very nice and aesthetically pleasing. There was hot water, cold water, soda (how ironic), tea, and instant coffee to sip upon while you wait (would have been better if there'd been good coffee and non styrofoam cups!) All their equipment was super up to date (when they x-rayed my teeth the picture would show up within seconds on the screen in front of me!).The bad stuff: The moment I walked in, I was hit with an overpowering scent of perfume. Turns out there were Glade oil plug-ins in almost every socket, including one right next to the teeth-cleaning chair! I asked them if they could unplug them, as I am fairly sensitive to smell and they were giving me a headache (I saw THREE of them within the first 50 feet of the building). So hopefully they'll get rid of them before I go there again. The hygienist (or was he the dentist??) was very friendly, but not very gentle with my gums. I was kind of in pain the whole time.So, if I call ahead and make sure the Glade Plug-ins are gone and ask the hygienist to be more gentle, I'll bump their rating up to 3 stars.
