This "Board Certified Dentist" is a complete let down to other practitioners whom know what they are doing. This "specialist" did a peer review report where he has no concept of what truly happens when a person is in an MVA or the timeframe it takes nowadays to get into true specialists. He deemed my TMJ which is completely NEW to me since my MVA to be not medically necessary because I was able to get into the TMJ specialist 8 Months later from my accident. We have one, ONE TMJ specialist in our area who only takes payment and not insurance. If he read my medical reports appropriately, he would have seen that I have complained about jaw pain and that my OT found the knot in my jaw. I thought it was my ear that had issues, and that specialist - ENT, took MONTHS to get into, he diagnosed my issue as TMD/TMJ. So I had to make an appointment with a TMJ specialist which was in AUGUST, but I begged to get in if there was a CX, so I was able to get in to see the doctor in May, to which the TMJ doctor diagnosed me with TMD/TMJ due to the MVA. This "lovely" trained DMD - Temkin, has no concept with how the medical field works nowadays and the wait to get in, nevertheless how PCS is on the body. Shame on you Evan Tompkins, do better. You owe me $1372 for my visit to the specialist since your denial and an apology for calling me a liar. May karma knock at your door ten fold.

They make appointments, then they don't show up for appointments leaving you sitting there for 20 mins. Not a person in the office and the is building locked. If you leave a message no one thinks to get back to you to explain if there was a miscommunication. Called back just to pick up the device that was ready, not even caring if it fits at this point or to see the dr. That seemed to be too much of a hassle. Glad there is no longer a reason for me to be seen by them.

Horrible DDS he makes decisions for new york State compensation and makes ill informed medical decisions for patients he has never even seen in person. I was hit in the lower jaw at work. Had to go through NYS compensation. First I went to my favorite DDS Nick Augenbaum located out In Rocky point Phenomenal DDS had taken x-rays and extracted part of the tooth the was still lodged in my gum. Ounce that was taken care of. He sent out all the information to this DDS Evan temkin. He wrote a report against my dental work saying how it was my medically necessary and how the x-rays were too dark and illegible. So juat based on that and not actually having me come in for a consultation and actually take a look at my teeth he just went and denied my NYS compensation based on dark and illegible x-rays. Now Im sitting here writing this with a huge gap in my teeth having problems chewing and biting.

Bad appointments, scheduling and confirmation and follow up. Improperly fitted crowns and bridges need to be completely redone and paid for again .Not timely treatment of infections and other issues. bad back office organization and billing of Insurance. I will never do business with him again.!

Great dentist! He’s very kind and helpful and did a great job making me a new crown. Would highly recommend!
