TEC Endodontics

I had a root canal in June 2022. I remember the doctor mentioning that she may not be able to finish it that day due to the infection. She ended up finishing so I thought everything was fine. Two months later, I had severe pain on the tooth. I had moved to a different state by then and when I sought out a new dentist, they immediately referred me to an endo who said the root canal looked like it had been done well, but that there was still infection present so he put some medicine in the canals, left it there for 6 weeks, then retreated it. Thankfully, that did the trick, but the stress and agony could have been avoided had the Dr. at TEC erred on the side of caution. I get that mistakes happen and doctors have to make judgement calls, and this was probably one of those times when she thought she got all the infection. Still, I sensed a hint of doubt in her voice which leads me to believe she wasn’t 100% confident the procedure would succeed.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Nawaz after a failed root canal at a different practice. They fixed me right up with no fuss. Extremely clean and professional office and staff! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Caring, patient, and pleasant. I was SO anxious going in for my root canal, but Dr Serrano and the Dental Assistants were very responsive and made the experience as easy as possible. At my follow-up, I was not anxious at all. I really appreciated the way that Dr Serrano explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions. I was especially impressed by how genuine Dr Serrano and the Dental Assistants are. They clearly care about their patients. Five stars, would recommend!

Cathy the front desk assistant from the second I spoke to her she was very cold and non welcoming.. I never seen a endodontics doctor before so I wasn’t sure how it worked instead of her explaining everything to me, she just said oh we can’t scan your whole mouth. I said OK I’m sorry I have three teeth that need to be looked at and she just kept repeating. I can’t scan your whole mouth. You can’t scan your whole mouth I have teeth that need to be looked at. She wouldn’t even schedule the appointment without knowing the number. I don’t know the tooth number you tell me… and then she proceeds the same. My insurance doesn’t cover anything and was just really rude instead of explaining everything to me next time sit down and explain and be more welcome and you sound like you’re an angry old lady.

My challenging root canal procedure was handled by Dr. Nawaz with masterful precision and incredible care. The entire team at the office are courteous, knowledgeable and make sure your visit is as easy and successful as it can be!
