TDA (Total Dental Administrators)

If I could give it a zero I would. Had the plan for years, what a waste tried to use it for the first time. We live in a fair sized city, NO ONE would accept this plan. And trying to cancel what a night mare what a scam and a waste I cannot afford . I'm disgusted !!!

I called around the holidays (bad timing I know) but I had left three voicemails with my information, and still have not received a call back. I haven’t used their services in 2 years and forgotten about it and want to cancel. I’m really frustrated because I don’t want to use their service and there’s no easy way to contact them. Their business hours are the same time that I work, so trying to plan around the schedules is super difficult. If there was a customer service email, that would make things 10x easier. How hard is it to set up a customer service email? I will try calling back again today and if they can rectify this issue, I’ll fix my rating

I work for a small business and they use these guys for dental and one day I bit into a candy and had shooting pain! Come to find out they want 3k for a root canal? There’s almost no point in even paying for this trash. It should be a crime what they do. Disgusted

Called this morning and the line said there were 0 people in front of me. Still took a while so I chose the option to get a callback since I had to get back to work. The phone rang around 30 minutes later and rang for 1 second and hung up. The phone was right next to me and I was going to pick it up before it ended. Google confirmed this was a number for a dental company. I called again and got back in queue and there were now 8 people in line. Again requested call back and hours later still no callback. This is apparently the only way to contact the insurance company.

I am floored. I had signed up for personal dental and after a few years I decided to look into adding my family to this plan. I emailed them asking about adding my family and they did it automatically without ever giving me pricing in advance or any sort of break down on how the billing would be handled. I asked for a statement or invoice and 2 months for them to respond and say that they don't offer invoices, just to look at my bank statement. The only reason that I give this 2 stars is because I called to express how ridiculous I thought this was and the man on the phone was very understanding and I got a sense that he would take ownership of this situation. I will update my review if he doesn't come through. TLDR; To all those looking into TDA. Just know that they are very unprofessional. They don't have any sort of online portal for you to see your bills or statements. They will add people to your plan before you give any final approval.

Our company has had TDA Dental insurance for nearly 15 years. All of our employees have been very happy with the service, claims handling, and price. I have used it extensively with my own little family and we are thrilled. I've had multiple comments at several dentist offices about how great our insurance coverage is. I think that's the biggest indicator of the quality of TDA. I have recommended TDA to many friends and family members. Several of them have also purchased individual TDA plans. They are also very happy with the coverage and pricing.
