I came to Tar Heel Perio for a second opinion in a gum graft that I needed done. Dr. Stella and Ailyn did such a wonderful job of walking me through the process and outlined expectations appropriately. Dr. Stella explained what needed to be done, how he would we perform the procedure and how the recovery would look. The procedure went well and the team made sure to check up on me and have been invested in my recovery. I will likely need another gum graft later and intend on going back to this team!

Tar Heel changed my life. As a child in Syria, I lost my teeth in a bombing and spent 14 years hiding my smile out of shame. My family couldn’t afford treatment, but Tar Heel made it possible for me they made a plan for me and covered it. Thanks to their kindness, I can finally smile with confidence. Dr. Kretchmer is amazing! He has worked with great patience in a rather difficult implant procedure with me. Kimberly his dental assistance provided expertise and comfort to me during the procedure. Very pleased with my level of care.
