I’ve been going to Dr Timothy Bletscher since I was a kid. Now my boys go there too. I love their gentle approach to dental care. The techs remember us every time (some of them even know me from when I was little!) and are really nice. They’ve been very good with my boys. Even my son who has a sensitive gag reflex. And they show them how all the tools work, let them raise the chair, explore the X-ray machine, and view their X-ray slides.

This is by far the best first dental visit I ever had. The entire staff was extremely upbeat and friendly. I found myself feeling very at ease right The comfortable feeling only increased as Dr Peters entered the the room. He was very down to earth and friendly, like the rest of the staff. But at the same time it became very clear that he was focused the mission of discovering my problem and finding the best solution. If your looking for a dental appointment to look forward to. This is the place!

Dr bletscher has been my dentist for over 15 years and I will never visit anywhere else. He's very professional and awesome with patients. Ive never been fond of people putting things in my mouth, but this place has always done a great job.

Dr. Peters is great, been going there for about 10 years now. I would have, in the past, enthusiastically reviewed with 5 stars, however I'm only posting 3 stars (posting this on Feb 8, 2021) because they still have no other way to communicate with their office except by phone. It's 2021....no website, no email, no app (e.g. a MyChart or similar app) but they will bombard you with texts about your appointment. I have a condition that makes it difficult to always have to pick up the phone and make phone calls, sitting and listening to terrible hold music. Also, since Betty retired whoever (blond gal whose name I always forget) is responsible for answering the phone and handles the scheduling over the phone clearly hates people and that part of her job....to the point that I'm starting to think she's just not a nice person. Seriously, it costs NOTHING to be kind! Also disappointed that they haven't even mailed out a regular ol' letter with any information whatsoever about the steps they are taking to keep everyone safe during covid. Most people have disgusting oral hygiene (not in this house!) and the last place I want to be is in an "open air" environment with people's gaping maws open, especially with the way their office layout is set up. Yes, there are walls but no individual exam rooms, except for one I've been in waaaaaay in the back where they work on my bite guard. Even their special dental x-ray machine that takes the 180° images is just kind of sitting there in a corner out in the open. I don't even want to call to get a refill for my Rx toothpaste because that woman is so mean on the phone!!! Husband and I have probably lapsed as "current/active patients" at this point and they won't let you know unless you CALL. Dr. Peters and Dr. Bletscher: You are always booked way out so you are clearly making enough $ to afford better patient services!!! PLEASE give patients a way to at least initiate communication with your office that isn't by phone (she's RUDE, RUDE, RUDE *EVERY TIME* and only having phone comms is totally ableist anyway!), join us here in the year 2021, please, and get a website or some kind of patient access portal and maybe, I don't know, send a letter or *gasp* email to your patients who want/need to be seen with pictures and a written description of how you are able to enforce social distancing and contain spread considering patients are at the highest risk since all of your staff can be masked and gloves up, etc. but a dental patient is super vulnerable lying there with their mouth open feet away from someone else who has been and done who knows what before they got there. Your hygienists have told me almost every time about all the gross mouths they just saw before me, ew!.....this does not instill confidence whatsoever that your practice and sylvan office are capable of safely serving your patients at this time and then we get the boot as active patients for "not being seen in a timely manner" because you make it impossible to know what you are doing to ensure patient safety. Likely nothing I'm assuming since we've received no communication. I see doctors who run MUCH SMALLER practices and likely have thinner margins than your busy office who are doing and have done more for patients, and not just because of covid. Also, dental patients often have issues that can cause them severe pain which makes speaking very painful and/or speech unclear....so your rude receptionist will be even worse on the phone. It feels like you added phone duties to her job description or something because you wanted to fire her, knowing she'd be rude on the phone...maybe rude enough to give you a defendable reason to fire her. Or maybe you just want fewer phone calls and fewer patients because she has NO PATIENCE. Just another AVERAGE dental practice now. Such a shame.
