Dr. Alex Marrero is amazing! All the staff there are awesome too! I am so lucky to find this dental practice that takes ODS Insurance. He is so kind, gentle and honest! I recently had a filling fall out. I went to a different facility in Hillsboro (won't mention name) and was told I needed a deep tissue cleaning, a couple small cavities filled along with the filling replaced. Was told I have over 50 % bone loss. None of these things were true. Dr. Marrero did the cleaning and X-ray (I only have 6 of my own teeth ) and fixed my tooth in one spot where the filling fell out. It was 8 years old. He also fixed my dentures! that I recently had religned and they were hitting so hard on one side and barely on the other. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have met this new dentist. If you have anxiety when it comes to going to a dentist. Or if you're just looking for a new dentist that's highly skilled. I highly recommend Summercrest dental for the whole family. I won't have anxiety anymore before, during or after a dental appointment. Thank you Dr. Marrero! and all the staff at Summercrest! Best Dentist I’ve ever been to. Dr. Marrero has been my dentist for over 25 years. He is friendly, honest, and the most skilled dentist I’ve ever had. I made the mistake of going to a chain dental office for a root canal. My primary dentist started the root canal and sent me to an endodontist that did the actual root canal. Then I was sent back to my primary dentist to finish the root canal. Each time I was billed for the visit and X-rays. At this point I hit the insurance cap. Luckily my employer changed plans the following month and I was able to return to Summercrest dental for the crown. Dr. Marrero can perform any procedure I know of himself without sending you to a specialist. He is the specialist. The skill of his work is better than other dentists. When I was 19 he made me a temporary crown that lasted over 10 years and was better than the permanent crown I got years later. When I eventually had the tooth replaced with an implant I made sure I went to Summercrest and it looks great. The office manager Becky is very good with billing and insurance. Summercrest is in network for every insurance that I know of and I believe they accept Oregon Health Plan. If your tired of second rate dental care and being over charged go to Summercrest Dental and have the work done right without getting ripped off. I recommend Summercrest dental. If unsure of this post go see Dr. Alex Marrero and Becky for a checkup or a cleaning and you won’t want to go to any other dentist ever again.

I was looking for a dentist away from all the local dentists I've tried close to my house. I looked up dentists in the Beaverton area and Dr. Alex Marrero at Summercrest Dental popped up. I called and talked to the receptionist for probably 15 min. She was so nice and I felt like she really wanted to get to know me and what I was needing done. Well, just by her taking her time with me, I decided to give it a shot. The Dentist, Alex Marrero met me at the door and welcomed me in. Let me just tell you, Dr. Marrero was super friendly, had a sense of humor, had great music playing and asked me questions about my issues before looking in my mouth, again, I felt like he wanted to get to know me and not just my mouth/teeth. Dr. Alex also was very thorough cleaning my teeth and I felt like he did a wonderful job, my teeth have never felt so clean. The dental assistant was so helpful and sweet and even though she was wearing a mask, I could see her big smile shining through it. Great team work!! I was very disappointed when the Dentist told me, "I will see you in 6 months,"... as I was looking forward to coming back sooner. Oh, and also, I have hated my smile for so long due to a chip I have in my front teeth, Dr. Marrero fixed my chip and I feel so much better about myself and can't wait to actually smile in my pictures now. In my opinion: Very kind, caring, and reliable work done at Summercrest Dental. I've been coming here for many years now, and actually look forward to my visits. Heard about them via word of mouth from someone I worked with, and am so thankful they were recommended to me. Great team!

My family has coming here for the last 4 years. This office has been here for decades. Dr. Marrero has always been personable and gets to know the patients and their family. It’s a no frills office but welcoming and warm. Becky at the front is always friendly and kind.
