Customer Reviews
I broke my tooth last night right before the start of Labor Day weekend, knowing Stowe Family Dentistry would be closed for several days. But I sent a text to the emergency number, got a response immediately and saw the dentists the very next morning. Both dentists came to help me even though the office was closed. They were compassionate and clinically excellent. What an outstanding dental practice.
I'm so appreciative of the kindness and care I receive here, as well as the excellent skills and amazing technology offered. Having dental work done is really hard for me, and Dr. John and team have been so helpful in improving my health and getting me through difficult procedures and hygiene appointments with supportive care and compassion. Thank you!
I came into the office with a broken crown and on the spot they were able to make a new one and fit me into their tight schedule, and mine. So grateful for the flexibility and professional work. The team at Stowe Family Dentistry is the BEST!
Reading the reviews after my original post verifies the same sentiment. The office staff, especially, Debbie, needs supervision. The dentists are amazing. It is really unfortunate that the office staff impact the climate so drastically for so many people.
Worst dental experience of my life. First, I was misquoted for an expensive service and ended up paying over $800+ out of pocket. They said they had contacted my insurance and told me it would be completely covered. Clearly they did not. When I brought up the issue they talked down to me. "Oh it has to do with complicated insurance codes". Furthermore, the dental hygienist took it upon herself to add some fluoride paste to my teeth without telling me it was an upcharge. Then I was charged for it. Plus, she didn't even finish the cleaning! Then I saw an older dentist who came out of retirement for the week because the other dentist was on vacation. His opinion of my teeth were the exact opposite of what I was told later. During my more expensive operation the younger dentist complained about his vacation the entire time. Horrible bedside manner. Finally, yes, it gets worse. When I asked for my records the front desk lagged 2 weeks on sending them to my new dentist. When I called she said she would do it in the next few days. But would absolutely not do it today because it was the end of her work day... and they we're off for a 3 day weekend. When I checked in the following week, she said it was done, but my new dentist had not received it. Still waiting on the x-rays I paid for... Looks like this place is really falling apart, I mean look at the reviews. A lot of people are having bad experiences. I would not risk it. Sometimes I wonder if I even needed that expensive procedure they recommended. Always get a second opinion, just don't come here for it!
