Dr Ray and her team are lovely! I went as an adult for Invisalign to fix my bite, and they were non judgmental with zero pressure to do Invisalign, and checked with my insurance as well to see what the benefits are. It does take a while to get in for the first visit, but I respect that they aren’t overloading themselves with new patients which would make it harder for existing ones to be seen. The staff are lovely, waiting room clean and kid friendly, and the technology for Invisalign is great. I don’t hesitate recommending SCO for orthodontic care!!

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with an orthodontics office. They are highly booked out and when I was finally able to get an appointment they did not do proper due diligence or client intake. I then was told they would not be able to see me two days before my appointment and was advised I could not be rescheduled until the next calendar year. I advise you not to waste your time. I am sure the doctors are fine but the patient customer service is lacking. They clearly are overloaded in patients. Do not waste your time unless you have close to a year to wait to be seen.

I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ray and her wonderful staff! They are extraordinarily caring, patient and welcoming. They do everything they can to make this experience fun for young people: allowing them to earn points toward gift cards from great places (like Amazon, Target and Nintendo); frequently running fun raffles to earn additional prizes; and including personalized welcome signs / photos, if you desire. The facility is impeccably clean and the space is both inviting and comfortable. And if you have a child with special needs/sensitivities, like I do, you cannot imagine more heartwarming care and understanding! Dr. Ray and her staff have gone above and beyond to ensure my child’s comfort throughout the entire process. We had a few rough patches, but got through them with amazing ease, due to their kindness, gentleness and patience. My child’s smile is beautiful!! Thank you, State College Orthodontics ❤️

After I completed my braces time with State College Orthodontics, I went back because I was having some problems with my retainers. They answered all my questions and provided me with a new set of retainers that better fit my needs. All around it was a fantastic experience! I'd specifically like to thank Dr. Ray and Chelsea, the technician who helped me!

Good: The office is clean and welcoming. All of the staff is friendly. Offer free financing for the Invisalign. The Invisalign itself has been an easy experience. Bad: They have too many patients which snowballs into other issues. Often times, appointments are further out than you'd like because they're so booked. I've seen a different person every time. This had caused conflicting direction for my Invisalign a few times. Also, they have a good-intentioned rewards program that often gets overlooked during your visits. Conclusion: This office is a good choice for those looking for a more autonomous experience. If you're looking for a place with a more personalized experience, I would go to a smaller office.
