I recently had an appointment at Stansell Dentistry, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. The office itself is clean, modern, and inviting, which immediately eased my nerves. My dental hygienist was fantastic—she was gentle, thorough, and took the time to explain each step of the process. They took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions, and provided personalized recommendations without any pressure. The team’s professionalism and compassion truly set this office apart. I especially appreciated how clean the office felt. I highly recommend Stansell Dentistry to anyone looking for a friendly and knowledgeable dental team. They have definitely earned my loyalty!

I normally shed a few tears during dental cleanings and feel overwhelmed at exposing my mouth to sharp tools. But my dental hygienist, Patricia M, who I have been to a couple of times has made the experience pleasant. She was very patient with me when I asked questions about what she is doing and the tools she's using and happily answered them thoroughly. And she gave me a couple of breaks when she sensed that I was tensing up. Her vibe is total zen, and I’m so stoked to have her as my hygienist!

As others have said, Stansell used to be great but seems to be trying to grow much too quickly with a lot of negative consequences for patients. I've had multiple issues with insurance filings over the past year or so that have been increasingly painful to figure out. Some of this comes down to an internal system upgrade which the office staff were apologetic for but it's still extremely frustrating to deal with so many billing errors. During my last scheduled visit, a hygienist I'd never seen before refused to do my cleaning and said I would need to come back for a deep scaling cleaning. My prior visits and x-rays had been good so this was a surprise. She communicated terribly and when I pushed back/asked for more info shut down completely. She brought in a dentist who I'd also never seen before who was overall more friendly but still did not really answer my questions. When I asked whether insurance would cover this cleaning and what the cost might be the dentist said, "I've actually never had dental insurance so I'm not sure," which is a pretty bizarre answer. Long story short, I got no cleaning and a $200 bill that was not submitted to insurance correctly. I'm continuing to work that out with the office staff. Also, this is nit-picky but the former office manager at the Brier Creek location was excellent. The new one is off-putting and, you guessed it, a terrible communicator. Everything going on with patient experience here speaks to poor leadership. This practice is really suffering.

Patricia the dental hygienist did a very thorough job with the cleaning, taking X-rays, and educating me on what to do to keep my gums and teeth healthy. I was checked in on my appointment time with no delay and they were done on time

I've been a patient at Stansell Dentistry for a few years now, before they moved to their current location. Their new office is really nice and the staff are always friendly. I haven't had any issues scheduling appointments and find them to be transparent with pricing.

I've been going to Stansell Dentistry for probably at least 10 years now and they've always been fantastic! I first went to them after not having been to a dentist for ... We'll just say a very long time (😂), and they were super nice and didn't make me feel weird. Today was the first time I actually saw Dr. Stansell, and she was great! I highly recommend the entire practice.

Such a wonderful experience! Patricia was amazing! She was so attentive to detail and delicate I fell asleep in the chair! So grateful for my experience at Stansell Dentistry Associates ❤️
