Everyone was kind, helpful, and excellent at what they do! Lily did a great job preparing everything and going over the after-care! And, of course, Dr. Manuel La Rosa did a fantastic job with the surgery. Many thanks to the team of Sound Surgical Arts, including the administration team for excellent communication and creating a warm, welcoming environment!
Dr LaRosa spent a generous amount of time explaining my dental situation and what his plan would be to correct my problems. He made sure I had time to ask questions and get any clarification needed. He assisted me in thinking through a surgical timeline that would best fit my needs— including a soon to be born first grandchild! Now, that’s what I call personal care!
I received some of the worst customer service I have ever endured from this practice. Scheduling took months, and then we were rescheduled more months out due to the office not having personnel covered by insurance. Wait times were absurd. No appointment started less than an hour past the set time. Every time we went in this office, we were informed the estimate was wrong and we actually owed more money. Then, the procedure failed and had to be redone. I would love to forget about the ordeal we went through with Sound Surgical Arts and move on with my life, but they sent us another surprise bill 10 months after the surgery we thought we had already paid for. It was an unbugeted expense that threw us for a loop, and the office refused to negotiate with us on it. I would drive to Seattle or Olympia to avoid dealing with this practice ever again. It was a terrible experience all around. Edit: It's so cute that they are trying to blame my insurance! I've had the same insurance for 18 years and never been put through it like the way this office put me through it. We know when the insurance paid out, and it was a long time ago. There is no way to justify a bill that comes almost a year after surgery. It's also cute about the "expected complication" that I was not warned about or told what to do if it happened. It makes me laugh when they replied that it was corrected "free of charge" when they are still asking me for money. The surgery was set for months before they said they didn't have a provider who would take my insurance. I was expected to pay out of pocket or wait several more months. Again, this has never happened to me before with any dental or surgical office. I will not be calling the office to work it out. We did call and try to work it out. This office is a disorganized mess and I don't intend to ever deal with them again.
Wonderful experience! Everyone the receptionist, nurses and doctor were amazing, so kind hearted. They called 2 days in a row to check up on my doctor and even sent her a get well card. My doctor was very well taken care of. Thank you for being such a amazing team!
