Dr. Walsh is an “amazing dentist” and while that may sound like an oxymoron, she is the best dentist I have ever had - in both her skill and professionalism. She took the time to listen to my fears, thoroughly explain every detail of her plan and, in doing so, allayed many years of anxiety and fear of dentists. . This is my 2nd review for Dr. Walsh and I could probably write more but I also want to thank her entire team of professionals who made comfortable what has always been an anxiety-producing experience for me. They have ALL been genuinely kind, respectful, accommodating, and knowledgeable in all our interactions about everything from scheduling to insurance and everything in between. A special thank you also to Trish who willingly answered many questions (from my daughter and myself). Mostly, I want to thank her for the encouragement she gave me throughout every procedure. In addition to her skills, Trish was sensitive to and understanding of my hearing difficulty (never shouted at me). She often had to repeat some of what Dr. Walsh said (in her soft voice) was so that I could understand clearly her instructions. I was so grateful for her patience and professionalism, as well as her skill. Staff is amazing & Dr. DePaola is an amazing dentist, especially with my multiple cavities & concerns. I went in last year with multiple issues & they were patient, thorough & very responsive to appointment needs. I also love that the staff communicates with me via email. I am a relatively new patient to Solon Family Dental, but they have provided the best dental services I’ve experienced. The hygienists are wonderful and Chastidy was especially kind, gentle and paid extra attention to detail, making sure I was comfortable. For someone who finds dental work to be difficult to get through, she made me feel at ease. Dr. Laura Walsh is also always pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend!

I rarely provide reviews but I’ve also rarely enjoyed a dentist. After a terrible experience with my prior dentist I went to Solon family Dental and they listened, provided a thorough cleaning and got me scheduled for follow-up. Most importantly, the people were genuinely friendly which I feel is something lost on the service industry now. I can’t thank them enough and they made me believe in dentists again!

When I moved from NY to Ohio I needed a dentist-one who I could trust since I have a phobic fear of dentists due to difficulty in getting numb since childhood. I make my fear well known and I know I am not easy to deal with. I chose Dr. Laura Walsh which was the best choice I could have made. Not only is she highly skilled and provides the highest quality care, she also ensures that dental work is done pain free including coordinating with a dental surgeon-teamwork is amazing.
