Never a less than stellar experience with this office. The front desk people are super sweet and outgoing, the dental assistants are amazing and the dentist is incredible. I wouldn’t trade this office for anyone else in the field. I will always prefer this location over any other! Best in Nashville!

I have had nothing but fantastic care from Smilodon. I alway feel very well take care of from the front desk to the dental assistants to the doctor I have been so impressed with the dental and office team here. The front desk lady, whose name escapes me, is always so warm and welcoming. My cleaning went the best it’s ever gone. I always dread having to get them done because of how sensitive my gums and mouth are and how rough most of the dental assistants and doctors I have had in the past have been. I left my appointment in no pain and my mouth feeling so refreshed. The doctor also took his time with my cleaning and checked in periodically on me to see how I was doing and patiently answered all my questions afterwards. For once I am actually looking forward to my next cleaning appointment and dental check. You are in good hands here with honest people who love what they do.

Dr. Ormaza and his staff are amazing! He is so kind and smart and has excellent bedside manner. He is very passionate and knowledgeable but knows how to explain things well. He gives you all the options and explains why he recommends things. You can really trust him to take care of you. Lindsey at the front desk was also so nice and helpful with insurance questions. They have a lovely new office as well. I can’t recommend them enough!!

No one likes the dentist but smilodon has made my extensive dental journey this year quite pleasant. Everyone is kind and friendly as well as up front about your care and costs. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

This was my best experience with a dentist ever! The staff were very personable, very kind, and explained things really well. The dentist and the dental assistant were very kind and patient with the fact that I was scared, and the whole procedure was quick, efficient, and PAIN FREE. The sheer patience, understanding, and amount of comfort that was here was amazing!!! I really appreciate Smilodon Dental, and what was even better was the fact that my kids were treated incredibly well and sweetly while they waited with their father for me to finish up!!! I *will* be coming back!

Dr. Ormaza and his staff are top-notch! I went in thinking I was at the start of a long and expensive road but came out knowing that all I needed was to be diligent with cleanings and have a few fillings filled. Dr. Ormaza was very gentle and thorough! He and his staff were extremely friendly, reassuring, and the most welcoming people I have ever met.

Dr. Ormaza is always kind, competent & gentle. Even though I received disappointing & expensive news, I feel his diagnosis was accurate. When my friend suggested I try somewhere else, I told her finding a dentist you trust is like finding the right hairstylist — when they move, you follow!

I’m very happy with the dentist and people who helped me in the dental office. I was concerned about plague that might have accumulated in my gum and chipped off teeth, lines on my teeth, cavity, swollen wisdom tooth. The dentist and a lady resolved all concerns I’ve had with a lot of patience & detailed info& recommendation. On top of that, I’ve learned to take a better care of my gum&tooth. I’m very grateful to the sincerely kind dentist&staffs for being patient with me ! I found him from google and i feel like I was v lucky that I saw him. During my second visit, did wisdom tooth extraction. Two staffs explained how to take care of myself after the extraction really thoroughly and the dentist explained the process in advanced and took enough time for the process. My extraction was not painful at all and scary as I expected. I felt that he genuinely care about patient.
