Obviously the dentist and staff are professionals and knowledgeable but these people are caring and nice. They use Care Credit which allows work to be done now and interest free payments. The atmosphere is like friends and family. I normally am terrified of Doctors and Dentists but this is the only dentist I can recommend. They even have an arcade for the children.

For many years, I had no problem here. In fact, I enjoyed talking fishing to my hygienist/dental assistant. Unfortunately, things have really changed here. Turnover is quick at this office. New dentists, assistants, hygienists and office staff. Recently, I had an appointment for a periodontal maintenance procedure/ treatment, which I was charged nearly $300 to my insurance. All I received was a regular teeth cleaning. Also, an additional charge of $400 for unscheduled and unnecessary x-rays. Such a scam! Taking advantage of a Senior Citizen on Medi-Cal. You should be ashamed. My recommendation: Read the negative reviews and stay away from this office!!

All of the staff are very reassuring and patient. I am so glad I chose to change my dental office to this one. At my first appointment, I was worried about payment but my receptionist made sure I was able to do the perfect payment plan for me, she went above and beyond for me to get the necessary services.

Smiles West is a wonderful Dental office. Very proffessional staff with great Dentist. The office is always clean with a calm atmosphere which really helps if you're nervous.

Writing this review is such a disappointment. This has been my dentist along with my two daughters Dentist for four years. The Doctors themselves are very nice and do great work. However, theres been an obvious change in the office staff. I noticed first when they called me claiming I didn’t have insurance when I had given them my new insurance months prior, moved my appointment without consulting me and then calling to tell me that I was late for the time i had not agreed to. And then worst of all trying to force me to pay full price for a periodontal cleaning because my new insurance had terms and conditions that they did not understand. After speaking with my insurance, it’s clear that the treatment would’ve been covered, but instead The office staff felt it would be easier for me to pay full price, almost $200 for a cleaning. And then moving forward, they expected me to continue to pay $200 every three months because they claimed my insurance would not cover the treatment. I showed them in writing that the treatment was covered, but after having me come in, numbing my gums and wasting my time I realized that things are not the same anymore, I’ve moved onto a new Dentist. You should too

I have VA coverage and this office works with community care. I’ve been here twice and both times worked with me and my schedule, as well as excellent customer service, a great manager as well as a great dentist. Highly recommended
