Smiles on Belmont

Everything from initial call to establish as a new patient to scheduling and then being seen for the first time was perfect. The staff has been kind and helpful. My hygienist was thorough and educated me when I asked questions. The dentist was great, though on this first visit I had a relatively short encounter with them (as is expected when things are looking good with one’s teeth). I left with fresh and perfectly cleaned teeth and an appointment to go back in about six months.

So far I've been very pleased with the care I've received from Dr. Cherron the past 3 years. He is very skilled and seems to have good attention to detail, as well as good craftsmanship. I also feel comfortable entrusting him to help me make the best decisions possible in regard to my dental care. His staff are very personable and easy to reach by phone, taking time to answer my questions, and accommodate whenever they can. It is much appreciated!

I met a new Dentist today and will say he had a warm bed side manner and a welcoming demeanor, his assistant Frankie was sweet and inviting and I appreciated her into welcoming me into a new practice!! ! I had my teeth cleaned by Elin and will say she was great, informative and gentle! I definitely would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a place to call home for any dental needs!

Woo hoo! There's something I never thought I'd say about a visit to the dentist. But my experience at Smiles on Belmont was the best I've ever had (and I'm 57). We are new to Oregon, and I thought I'd try the dentist around the corner from me in SE. I am so glad I did! The front desk staff is efficient and friendly. The hygienist and dental assistants put me at ease and communicated everything along the way, making sure I felt no pain. The doctor is obviously knowledgeable and impeccably skilled. He explained everything well and answered my questions kindly and thoroughly. I had neglected my dental care the past few years, and now I feel extremely confident with the treatment plan and the work I had done today. And I had no pain in the chair! (Well, there is that tiny prick when you get the anesthetic, which was so negligible)!!! Last thing I'll mention is that the equipment is very up-to-date and new technology is being used in a very smart way. It's great, useful tech to where you feel confident that the doctor is keeping up with new research and developments, but not to the point where you think he's trying to impress patients with bells and whistles. I don't think I've ever written this effusive of a review, but I have a significant amount of anxiety where dentistry is concerned and I am so relieved and so happy to have found a gifted dentist with a practice that is grounded in kindness and all-around patient care. I've already told my grown kids and my spouse to make appointments.

I have a really bad gag reflex that makes getting X-rays almost impossible, but this team is patient, kind, and willing to help me through it every time. They make accommodations and give me extra time between cleaning a couple of teeth to swallow and clear my mouth. I am happy to say that I did not gag during my cleaning today. Went here for a while. Great dental hygienists, but the Dr’s bedside manner is a cold contrast. Frequent staff turnover seems like a bad sign. The Dr frequently recommends his wife’s chiropractic business to patients as part of their assessment, which seems icky at best and unethical at worst.
