Smileplicity Dentistry

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. I STRONGLY advise not going here. I’m pretty sure she tried to commit insurance fraud, but since she didn’t think it through she got paid less than she wanted. She didn’t bill me, but brought it up when I brought my partial in because it was so bad and didn’t fit at all. She accused me of doing something to it (why would I do that when what I’m looking for is a great smile!). She gave me 3 different bills with different amounts that day, a couple weeks ago. I contacted insurance, which she said was MY responsibility, rather than her office at staff who handle billing and deal with insurance. I called and they said that she could refile it with different codes and maybe be paid more that way, but that only she could do that not me. I told her and she didn’t want to. I talked to her on the phone and said she’d cut it in half (which would still be over $700!). I went in and got my new partial which still looks cheap and doesn’t fit well (after this being their second try!), and she didn’t say anything then! However, she has now sent me to collections for a “bill” which she tried to make me pay double what I agreed to after the pre-procedure treatment plan. Finally, prior to all of this with defective partials, insurance, and payments, I found her to be very condescending and judgmental. I needed teeth pulled which became that way from a chronic medical condition and all the medications I take. I left feeling like she judged me in a big way and acted like I was disgusting. Had it not been for the office manager at the time (no longer there, I personally think she knew about the insurance fraud and they let her go), I wouldn’t have gone back. However, she seemed horrified and said she’d look into it and talk to the doctor. We had a specific conversation before I came in to make sure the doctor knew not to be condescending and judgmental.

Dr Daiana and her team are amazing! I have to say Brazilian Dentists are very good and professional, and she is not an exception! Her office is very cute and stylish and the whole team is super friendly and nice! I have to say she is very honest and not hungry for money at all! Dentists in the USA are very pricey, but she is honest and does a good job for a good price! Thanks, Dr. Atari!

Smileplicity Dentistry is simply AMAZING!! The staff is super nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is really cool, makes you feel like you’re in your own home! Their use of modern technology to develop your treatment plan is also pretty sweet! Dr. Atari is the most gentle dentist I have ever visited! She asked me about my dental goals and walked me through a treatment plan that would best help me reach the desired goal. Christina, who manages the office side, is very intentional about trying to get you scheduled and keeps you informed about all aspects of the monetary side, whether that is knowing what insurance will cover and what you will be responsible for out of pocket. I love this practice!

Look no further for your future Dentist!! I know how difficult it is trying to find a new Dentist and especially one you can trust, believe me I know from experience. I moved to the Raleigh area about a year ago and researched so many Dental offices and finally decided on Smileplicity Dentistry based on the raving reviews…and l am SO GLAD I did!! Upon my first arrival Christina at the front desk was so welcoming, professional and efficient (we chatted for a while about both of us being from FL). I am one of those weird people that likes the Dentist so I don’t get nervous, but the staff and office environment are very calming. When I went to the back Martha was my Dental Assistant and she was so friendly and informative. I ended up having to get a deep root cleaning and Martha was so gentle and did such a great job making sure I was in no pain the entire time. She also made the experience fun and will definitely make you laugh. Dr. Antari really blew me away! When we first met she had such a warming presence about her and thoroughly explained everything to me without making it overwhelming. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and was so friendly throughout my entire visit. Dr. Antari is not one of those Dentists just trying to make money, you can tell she really cares about the patients and enjoys her profession. I have been back 2 times in the last year and each visit has been the same experience as my first! I cannot say enough good things about Smileplicity Dentistry and the wonderful staff! I have told everyone I know that’s been looking for a Dentist about you and I will continue to do so! Thank you for being so wonderful, and I look forward to many more visits with you (as weird as that may sound).

I have had some rough experiences in the past with dentist. Smileplicity gave me a different experience at a dentist office, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are nice. The dentist is nice. They make you feel like you’re part of the family they make you feel at home. I sent CoWorker there and they love them as well???

We finally found a dentist who is honest, professional and, best of all, can treat the entire family! The office is very clean and pleasant. The staff is polite and helpful. My kids are ages 6, 12 and 15 and all of them feel comfortable with Dr Atari.

The customer service and dentistry at this office is top notch. Each contact is better than the one before! Every staff member is very attentive to the needs and situations of their patients. Highly recommend!!

The folks who gave 1 star, especially because they wanted to do a deep cleaning, obviously don't dentist regularly. Every dentist office I've ever been to... 3 in all of my life lol, wanted to do a deep cleaning first, smileplicity was no different. I needed a deep cleaning my first time coming there but my daughter didn't... So I know that don't use deep cleaning as an upsell tactic. If you don't clean your teeth properly, you don't clean your teeth properly. Since I've started going here, mouth doesn't even have a smell anymore, why? Because I got my deep cleaning and regular visits ever 6 months, treatments for bacterial infections I didn't even know I had and boom, no bad breath even when I wake up in the mornings granted I swish or brush before bed. They've got a long term patient in me.... Depending on how this wisdom teeth extraction goes today 🤣🤣🤣
