I had an amazing experience at Smile Obsession. I went in for a standard cleaning and Dr. Elhindi not only did that but he provided me with a full treatment plan to fix a few other issues I pointed out with my teeth. He was patient, caring and very knowledgeable. I am obsessed with my new smile :)

Dr. Peter Straka and the team are simply amazing! From the moment you walk in until you leave, it's such a wonderful experience. The lovely ladies at the front desk are not only super friendly but also incredibly helpful.I have to say, the office is so cute and welcoming! You're greeted with warm smiles and a cozy fireplace. It's hard to believe, but getting a cleaning and fillings done here has been the most enjoyable experience I've ever had at a dentist! Dr. Peter has such a gentle touch, it's like magic, making dental work completely painless. He's truly a dental artist with a fantastic bedside manner to match.

I came from Chicago where I lived down there for 2 years. For a year and a half visited 3 dentist that were awful. Barely did a cleaning and told me I needed veneers. My teeth are so straight, and white, and haven’t had a cavity in 10 years. What? I researched top dentists in the area and dentist offices with great reviews and TONS of reviews. Smile obsessions in oak lawn was the top at the time for the Chicago land area. This is my third visit in a year and a half and they’re FANTASTIC. Thorough cleanings, dentist that cares, hygienists that’s are friendly and gentle.Quick and easy x-rays. Can’t say enough good things. I drove an hour to come here every 6 months for a cleaning. I moved and still have to drive an hour to get here. It’s so hard to find a good dentist! I saw they do financing on dental work and provide full services if you need them. Office is newly renovated and this particular office has been with the family for two generations now.

I had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Straka and scheduling with Shelly, both were very professional, but also weren’t so hung up on professionalism that it felt robotic. I expressed concerns of extremely sensitive lower teeth the the Dr. and his team and I can happily state that there was no discomfort or nerve pain like I’ve gotten almost everywhere else. The Dr’s attention to detail was also impressive as he noticed leftover retainer resin that 5 other dentists had not and removed it pain free. My teeth feel clean and I’m happy to find a dentist that I don’t dread going to(which kept me from going for 2.5 years) As for Shelly 1 and 2 at the front desk both were very personable, kind, and enthusiastic to getting me taken care of. If you have qualms about dentistry I would 100% give this location a chance!

Dr. Elhindi & his staff was just awesome. Everytime I had a appointment they were always friendly. Dr. Elhindi would always give me a follow up call to make sure I was comfortable with the work that was done on my mouth. The office was always clean. I would recommend this place for your Dental needs.
