I haven’t even been to my first appointment yet, but I have to highlight the EXCELLENT service from the intake coordinator Wendy! She was so gracious over the phone and efficient in making the phone call seamless. I communicated that I needed an appointment before the end of the month due to an upcoming insurance lapse, and even though the office is typically booked weeks out, she was able to find a cancellation and squeeze me in. She communicated what she needed from me, and how soon she needed forms in order to secure the appointment. She made next steps very clear and got my recent Xrays from a previous dental office. Based off of Wendy’s customer service, I look forward to the in office visit. Thanks Wendy!

I had a dentist I liked who was great in the beginning but once she left both service and customer service has gotten extremely poor. I had a terrible cleaning service last time I went there, but I just tried calling to see if they have a dentist for my next cleaning and was met with the rudest customer service person who cuts me off with “STOP”while I was trying to explain my reason for calling then proceeds to talk to clients while I’m still on the phone with her. I believe her name was Mercia. I will be making no more attempts to work with such a business.

The staff were extremely professional and both Dr. Minkowski and Angel were patient and attentive to my needs throughout the whole process of working on my teeth, e.g. giving me more anesthetic, making multiple adjustments to ensure my bite was good, ensuring everything was done precisely. It's a big relief to have found a reliable dentist where I know I will have a positive experience. The only slight hiccup for me was the insurance, which was not the dentist's fault and was resolved. I'm writing this out in detail in case others experience this issue with MetLife: the insurance at first denied my claim due to a need for additional documentation to prove that my procedures were necessary. All of the info provided by the insurance was very difficult to understand. I thought this was a red flag and called in about it (spoke to Angel, who was also there for my procedure). I ended up reluctantly going through with the procedure (and paying) before the insurance approved the claim - they told me they would have to document the need for the procedure while they were working on my tooth. I went in for the procedure, they took lots of photos/X-rays and this info was added to my claim, which was then APPROVED within a very short period of time. I appreciate Angel, the other staff, and my dentist taking the time to explain the insurance procedure and being so careful about documentation throughout. The problem was my insurance not wanting to approve claims, and not the dentist recommending unnecessary work. I'm very grateful to now have healthy teeth again with minimal pain to my wallet.

Dr. Louis Kaufman and his team are competent, kind, empathetic, and caring. They care about the work they do.They work very hard at resolving your concerns if for any reason you are not satisfied with the work or costs.They have the most modern equipment and can do most of the work in-house. Their referral partners are awesome too! Thank you Dr. Kaufman and staff for taking such good care of my dental needs!
