We love it here. After struggling to find a dentist that fit our needs, we are feeling beyond blessed to have found Dr. Jones. My husband and I both wish he could also be our dentist - seriously. We went to 2 pediatric dentist offices before coming here and were left confused and worried for our son’s teeth. Our first time in Dr. Jones office was such a wonderful experience. Not 1 but 2 assistants interacted with my son who was 2 at the time and played with him in the playroom (within my eyesight) while Dr. Jones and I talked about the process. The kids playroom is a brilliant concept and the service provided is unmatched. My son loves coming to the dentist - I don’t know any other 3 year old that does but even when we’re here, we have witnessed other little kids not wanting to leave bc they are having fun in the playroom. I just love this place!!! Thank you Dr. Jones and all his staff for being so amazing ?
*This review has to do with the office staff member I spoke to today. Dr. Dave and the hygienists we have seen there have been great. First, I own that I made a mistake and scheduled an appointment 6 months ago during my kid's school day on accident. Today is Columbus Day so it's possible we thought school would be out but for our district school is in session. I realized the mistake when I received an appointment confirmation text on Saturday morning. I planned to call then realized they were closed until today at 8am. I called as soon as I could after dropping my son at school at 8:20. I was met with a really rude person on the phone who made sure to emphasize that I would be charged $50 for the late cancellation because I didn't leave a message over the weekend (when no one was there to receive it and called first thing this morning instead). I understand the inconvenience and if I have to pay a fee, that's fine. I dislike the fee considering I couldn't feasibly reach anyone to avoid it, but I probably signed a paper about it at some point. Despite that, my issue is the way she treated me on the phone. She said several messages were sent to me to confirm (not true, I got 1 text message Saturday morning). I don't know why she thought good customer service is to argue with patients on the phone. I suggested that they send reminders on Fridays for Monday appointments to avoid issues like this. Then she proceeded to tell me it's weird my kid has school when banks are closed and most schools are closed. I told her to Google my school district because it felt like she was calling me a liar. I would have loved to take my child in for his appointment, but 6 months ago he wasn't in kindergarten yet and my brain didn't process that the timing would be during his school day. While trying to find a new appointment day and time, she was sure to emphasize how it would be sooo hard to find an appointment but we got in the first week of January. She also brought up again how it’s just so weird that my son has school when everything else is closed today. The lack of customer service, the extremely rude attitude and insulting demeanor today was enough that now I am considering a new dentist. Time for a staffing change, Dr. Dave. That rude woman is losing business for you.
I called to make an appointment and they apparently are out of network for all insurances?! Also, they require parents to sit outside while kids go in for appts on their own. How do you expect a younger kid under 5 to be at the appt all by themselves?! Ridiculous.
This practice is beyond amazing for kids & families. The staff is always friendly and accomodating and ready to answer any questions you may have. Dr. Dave has an almost MAGIC ability to put anxious children (and their parents) at ease. He's kind, attentive, thorough, enthusiastic, informative and professional. It's also refreshing to know that he will not push for unnecessary treament or procedures. My kids have had great experiences there - and as a result, have absolutely no fear of going to the dentist twice a year. I am so thankful for care providers like Dr. Dave and his team!!!
I really can’t say enough about how wonderful every single person in this office is. My 5 yr old I found out had multiple cavities and we were referred to dr.Dave. Like many pediatric dentist the kids go back solo; I was super apprehensive thinking my son would be really scared. He was very nervous to be without me initially in the first appt but came running out with a huge smile. He’s had to go a few times since and he actually bursts out of the car to run in. I’m not exaggerating when I say he talks more enthusiastically about going to dr. Dave then our trip to Disney world. I never knew I could be blown away by a dentist office but I really am. So glad something that could have turned into a lifelong anxiety turned into a real treat for my son.
