The Sloop Dental team is kind, patient, honest, flexible, and understanding. A friend recommended them to me when I mentioned I felt anxious and ashamed about a long gap in my dental care. Everyone in the office was so kind and understanding and made me feel at ease immediately. They’ve worked with my financial and schedule concerns and have gone above and beyond. They’re truly experts from the front desk to the dental chair. Sloop Dental invests in modern technology and continuing education; for example, they have a 3D printer and made my crown on site. How cool is that?! I’m a patient for life and so effusive because they deserve it. 10/10!

Sloop is the absolute best! I have been to many dentists over the course my life and there is no place that compares. Angie and Dr. Sloop somehow always remember details about my life, are extremely kind, gentle, and make you feel really safe. I used to be so afraid of the dentist because it was always painful but somehow they make the experience feel so safe and comfortable and they consistently check in to ask how you're doing along the way. I can't recommend them enough!

I have been going here for several years now. Everyone is extremely professional, kind, and friendly. From the moment you step in the door, you know you are in good hands. They have time for all my needs and questions. They do amazing work- I have had my regular cleanings, a front crown replacement, and some minor tooth fractures treated. They are clean, efficient, and good at making you feel relaxed and safe. Before this place, I had avoided the dentist for over 5 years, due to bad experiences. Since I came here, those fears are gone. They fixed my fractured tooth just this week! Historically, I would have been terrified by something like that- but I knew I could trust the people at Sloop to take care of me. They were also very available to respond to my out of hours needs through the after hours number. When you have an immediate concern- they get you in fast, and they make sure you’re happy before you leave. I don’t know how I’ll ever move away. Probably have to keep coming back here even if I did! Also, I love the location. If you live anywhere near here, (or even far!) you should be using Sloop Dental. They aren’t just a great dental company, they’re also great people.

If Sloop isn’t your dentist, you’re missing OUT on the best team in KC. I can’t say enough good things about her and the entire staff, from front desk to hygienists. I’ve never felt so passionately about going to the dentist, it’s just that wonderful of an experience every time and they deserve all the praise. They are all sincerely wonderful, caring humans that are professional, polite, honest, down to earth, and treat you like a human more than a job. They do EXCELLENT work, and they’re efficient about it. They won’t shame or judge you about your hygiene like so many hygienists tend to do, they just advise without judgement and that reduces the anxiety and shame many of us have felt about making it in the office for routine cleanings and exams. They have worked with me to problem solve and find the best solution when finances and insurance become an issue rather than just telling me it is how it is. They explain things in layman’s terms so I understand , present all the options, and help me make an educated decision I think is best for myself rather than doing it for me, and the amount of patience and respect that requires in this business speaks numbers about their practice. As someone with a large amount of dental problems from childhood that has spent thousands on major work, Sloop always has me feeling so lucky to have found them. Just yesterday, a front crown broke off and I was so worried about it assuming it would take ages to get fixed. They fit me in TODAY last minute and made me the appointment based only on a frantic 2am voicemail I left. They had me in and out in under 30 minutes, and went above and beyond to make sure that I felt confident they would take care of me and also made sure I wouldn’t have to be seen without my front tooth while I wait for my next big appointment. On top of how fantastic they all are, they invested in leading edge technology - they have a machine in house that can make a crown so that it only takes one two hour appointment start to finish?! ? And instead of the old putty molds, they have a digital scanner that can create perfect imaging of your teeth to make crowns, retainers, etc. The convenience this adds is such a game changer and worth every penny. Trust these folks with your smile and go give them all your $$$!!
