Saw Mill Dental of Yonkers

This is one of the first times I’ve gone out of my way to write a review, but I am so dissatisfied with the staff that I’m willing to take the time to share my experience. I have a dental procedure that was approved by my insurance back in March. It’s now November, and the work is still not completed. I understand that I have a block on my account because I missed three appointments in August—two of which I missed because I had COVID. However, the manager, Winnie, is never available to discuss removing the block. I also understand that the staff’s time is valuable, so I’ve been patient and followed their rules by calling every Friday to check for availability. Unfortunately, I’ve had no success, and every time I ask to speak to the manager, she is unavailable. Before these issues on my end, the dental office wasted a lot of my time. For example, the dentist broke a permanent crown inside my mouth, which had to be remade, delaying the process. Additionally, the dentist who started my procedure is no longer working there, and they canceled my appointments twice—both times on the same day while I was on my way to the office. In one instance, my temporary tooth broke, so I called to schedule an appointment. They initially told me to come in at 12:00 but later changed the appointment to 2:45, a three-hour difference. So you can see how back to back they did not respect my time. I’m extremely frustrated with these repeated issues, especially since I’ve been a patient at this office for years without any prior problems. Unfortunately, 2024 has been a terrible year for me as a patient at this dental office. I still have a temporary glue in my crown and my teeth that was suppose to get work done is now hurting.

Amazing establishment. They are gentle with my son and he has no problems going there. The dentist explains everything that is going on so he understands and has fun with him so he's comfortable. I love when a Healthcare professional loves their job and it shows. The front desk professionals are also amazing individuals which makes the entire facility just extraordinary overall.

I have been coming to this dental office for years for regularly scheduled cleanings and for orthodontist appointments for my Invisalign treatment. I’ve always had a positive experience. The front desk has always been very welcoming and accommodating towards myself and my family. The dentists here always give the best possible care and cleanings and I truly have not had a bad experience with them.
