San Tan Dental Group

My recent visit to this office was one of the best dentist experiences I’ve had in my life. The staff made me feel comfortable and made sure to explain what was happening to help me feel at ease. Specifically my dental assistant, Julianna, did a phenomenal job and helped make this process easy and a great experience. I will definitely be returning!

Horrible experience from beginning to end. Front of house seemed confused in what to do in general. The chicken app was absolutely horrible would not connect properly. And finally the girl upfront was able to finish the check-in big waste of 30 minutes. When I got back to the dentist, I felt that she was trying to find things to fix as much as possible to increase the final billing. I called the next day saying that I did not want to move forward with them. But still she went through on her own and contacted my heart doctor for permission to provide antibiotics. As a result I was at another dental office two days later and took care of my issue within three hours, that was a partial that had a missing tooth. They accomplished that in the same day. Also, the other work that they had on the list of things to be done will be done but it is significantly less price. They will do quite a bit again significantly less price. All in all I thought everything was very pushy and driven by dollars

UPDATING my review to say that I checked with my insurance and I am allowed one of the exact type of teeth cleaning that the doctor recommended, PER YEAR, at ZERO COST. But they tried to charge me $320. And I went to a different provider and got everything done for $60. Would have been free but I opted for an extra $60 service beyond what this place offered for $2000+. The staff was nice, but I was told I needed a dental cleaning for $320 (not covered by insurance at all) and two fillings for $1291, also apparently with only a $30 contribution from my insurance. My insurance covers normal cleanings, and 70% of any of the procedures that aren’t 100% covered, so that math made zero sense. It felt like I was in a dystopian car dealership. I then called my mother-in-law and she apparently had a VERY similar experience at this same office previously. I would recommend you and anyone you know do not go here.

I had a great experience at SanTan Dental Group. The office was very clean, and there was plenty of staff to assist. I was greeted kindly and made to feel welcome right away, with no wait time at all. Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly, which made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. A special shoutout to Victoria, who was very nice, efficient, and did a great job. I highly recommend SanTan Dental Group!

Experience was absolutely amazing! Right away was taken care of by their great team member Julianna and was made very comfortable. Everyone is here to take care of you and are very professional.

What can I say about Dr. Ryan Smith….hmmm everything he is by far the best dentist I have ever had! Not only does he make the procedure effortless his staff is friendly and efficient! Skip the other offices no one does teeth like Doctor Smith!!! I will never go anywhere else!!! Ps ppl the doctor is not responsible for how your mouth reacts during the healing process also…if the dentist recommends a procedure that would take care of your situation and you do not go with it and decide to to do a different procedure expecting the same results that is not his fault that is your own stupidity sorry I had to put this out there just want to clear some things up! 🫶😂
