I had an incredibly distressing experience with Dr. Travis Cripps at SLU Cade. My non-verbal son, who woke up in severe pain from an impacted tooth, was treated with a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. Despite my son's visible distress—crying, pointing to his mouth, and hitting his head—Dr. Cripps refused to pull the loose tooth. His demeanor was rude and dismissive, and he even suggested my son had an ear infection, though my son had no symptoms. Dr. Cripps then made an offensive comment, accusing my son of being a "junky," and sharply instructed me to give Tylenol "sparingly" after writing a prescription for it. He refused to check for any possible infections or properly address the pain, claiming the pain was "normal" for autistic children, as if all children with autism should be treated the same. This was not only insensitive but also outright negligent. No child, especially one with special needs, should be treated this way. I do not recommend this clinic to any parents looking for compassionate care for their child. Avoid at all costs!

Always a nice, quick, informative appointments. Dr. Wes was awesome today answering all questions/ concerns, and giving us our best options. Excited to make this dentist office our home for all my children! Front desk receptionist always does a wonderful job getting our follow up scheduled, and on our way.

Poor customer service. They set my appointment for 1230, I was the only person in the waiting room. They said someone come get me closer to 1p. At least 7 people who came in after me were called back. When I asked if they were behind, they asked my name and I gave it. They said someone would be out any momemt to get me. Then a patient who walked in about two minutes after I sat down got called back and I'm still waiting here. 1.5 hours after I got here. Update 5/20/24 I've been here several more times and not been forgotten, so raising my rating to a 4. The staff are friendly and the Doctors are informative.

I called to set my son an appointment for a cavity we found. My son has been going here for over 5 years. When it was time for his last cleaning they were booked out for several MONTHS. As a responsible mom, I made the decision to find a dentist who could get him in sooner. Fast forward to today...I called this place that he has REGULARY being seen at for 5 years and told them that I found a cavity and could I bring him in. She asked "Does he need a regular appointment or just that tooth?" I detailed No. When it was time for a cleaning you all were booked so we went else where. So he will just need that tooth checked out. This "Lady" (for lack of better terms) had the NERVE to ask me "Are they not pulling teeth?" FIRST of all... Who needs a tooth pulled? Why are you worried about them? Why are we going back and forth about another dentist? WHY? I asked are you refusing to see him because he went elsewhere? Should I have waited FOUR MONTHS to get his teeth cleaned?! Make it make sense! She rudely moved forward with setting his appointment. Her attitude was so bad you'd think I stood her up for a dinner date. Ma'am just make the appointment! People are extremely BOLD over the phone. Had I been in front of her she wouldn't have DARED have that demeanor!

We absolutely love SLU! Both of our kids were in need of braces within a couple years of each other. SLU made the process easy and educational for us, not to mention the price was half of what we were quoted elsewhere! The process to make appointments and check in each visit is smooth and quick and the customer service is stellar. With several options closer to home, we still opt to drive 90 miles one way to have our experience at SLU. Highly recommend!
