I have been coming to this location since my 14 year old was 5. The experience was good the first few years but these last 3 or since they became Ruby have been terrible. Everytime my kids come to Ruby dental there's extensive work that needs to be done. efuse once to open there mouth. They told me my 5 year old had 3 cavities and refused to cooperate so they referred him to U of L, we have been to U of L 3 times since they referred him out and he did not have 3 cavities and we never had a problem with behavior he is all smiles when there. Ruby does not allow parents back with there children but U of L does. They have no patience and will remove your child if they refuse to open there mouth once. It's also filthy in here but this is a dentist office. I don't know what to say but I'm in the process of moving all my kids over to U of L.

I'm still trying to feel this place out, I just don't agree with them letting my little one go to the back by themselves, my 8 yr old was getting 3 teeth pulled today and she asked if I would go back there with her so she would feel comfortable. I asked the nurse and I got " well yeah we really don't allow the parents in the back and I said well she asked for me to be back there and the nurse asked do you think she will do fine alone I said yes but for this particular procedure she wants me back there then goes and ask if I have anyone else with me I say no it's only me and her she said well I think we can make that happen". This is the only thing that would possibly have me switch dentist. Oh and it's a hit or miss with the ladies up front sometimes they can be helpful and other times it's a problem to get information that you need.

I did not appreciate the fact that I had three small kids appointment the first ones 8:45 had a 10 minute grace period I had 3 minutes left on my grace period and they took and bumped me and my children all the way back it's almost 10:00 did not explain the procedures me and my grandkids did not get out of there until after 12:00. The lady that came out to speak with us was rude this was my very first time here didn't appreciate the rudeness But other than that they did do a great job on cleaning their teeth. They don't feel like a five-year-old child should be in any doctor's office alone they are not able to really explain I put down tooth hurting they did not pull the tooth that was hurting.

I just had an appointment for my daughter 07/24/2024 at 2:30 and apparently she was supposed to get X-rays. My daughter is autistic which they already know, so this new dr there was going to take the pictures and as soon as she saw my daughter started crying she said ( if she is ACTING like this i can’t do anything) so she gave me a referral to another clinic where apparently they put kids to sleep for procedures . She didn’t even try to see if my daughter would calm down, she was running behind so she preferred just to say go somewhere else. My daughter is not a new patient here, and they have gotten pictures before so that means that it was not impossible for her to get the job done.

All the staff are nice and sweet , you get phone, text & email reminders & confirmation of appointments. Those workers do a great job I feel like they’re underfunded the machines are so sometimey but the staff do all they can to work around all the hurdles that come during the work day I appreciate them for always showing up and even though it be tough they stick it out and stay positive! ?? they would get 5 stars for the staff & performance /work but overall the building needs a few upgrades to equipment so that why I say 4 stars ⭐️

You can’t speak to anyone local. You have to speak to someone through a third party call service. I had an appointment for my son to get two teeth pulled and had a referral from another dentist office. I had to drive a hour to get there and there was a wreck along the way making me 16 mins late. I called in advance to give notice but had to speak to the third party call center. The call center doesn’t even seem knowledgeable of the business. They told me they would let the local office know. We make it to the appointment and the actual office tries to tell us that they only have a 5 minute grace period and stated we wouldn’t be able to be seen. We explained to them what happened and that we called and we were told they would be notified. They then said they could see him but it would be a hour wait. We were fine with that until upon filling out the paperwork. We had a referral for a tooth extraction and asked multiple times before the appointment if they would be pulling it or would they have to check his mouth first and make another appointment. Through the call center, because you can never get through to the local office, stated that we were setup for an extraction and it would be done for this appointment. Now the actual office is saying different. The call center and local office are not in sync. Also, the lady that was at the front desk that I had to deal with was very rude on top of everything. She wasn’t trying to be any help and had an attitude about everything while I was remaining calm and polite the whole time, not getting on her level. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one.

The staff is always extremely nice and make us smile, however today especially, the doctor couldn't stay in the room for more than 5-6 ish minutes at a time. She was so busy I didn't feel like my daughter really got the attention she deserved while getting a filling. Not to mention, it was said several times, the assistant doing my daughter's filling, it was her first day and was just left to complete the actual filling by herself. Our appt was at 8am, when they open, and it was already packed the second the doors opened. Most the staff was just getting in so everyone was scrambling the entire time we were there.

Excellent caring Drs. and staff I had driven 2 1/2 hours. There was no forms telling them just exactly what to do. Doctor examine my grandson, decided that he could go ahead and extract his tooth he did and my grandson is doing wonderfully

The overall process was quick THIS TIME for us. But the lady at registration was not personable at all. Seemed like she didn’t like her job I had to ask twice is she ok and to get anything out of her. All the rest of the staff was nice and personable. I’m in customer service myself so I know how it’s supposed to be. And she seem like she didn’t like her job or something. And I wasn’t the only one that said that because I thought it was just me at first until someone else confirmed it. Idk, thinking about switching all together.
