Rivers Family Dentistry

We have used Dr Rivers for years! They are very friendly and efficient! Last year we got on a dental insurance plan the Dr Rivers did not accept. We are supposed to get two free cleanings per year. Since we were paying for the insurance we sought out a place to get a cleaning! We called Modern Denistry and told them all we wanted was a cleaning. We showed up at the appointed time and felt like we were being herded like cows. We saw several different people, all the while saying we just wanted a cleaning. They kept saying we have to do all this first. We seemed to have no control! At the end they said they could do nothing for us until we signed a contract to let them deep clean our teeth. A lot of money and a contract to come back every two months. They said everything was terrible. We have been under dental care our whole lives. Today, two weeks later I went to Dr Rivers. Everything check out the same as before! Gums in great shape. They call out numbers for depth of gum recession. River’s dentistry was half of what Modern Dentistry said! They were just trying to get in our pockets. They charged around $500 for that visit and did not clean my teeth. They indicated we both had major problems. Don’t get caught up in a scam! Go with Dr. River’s in Bryan and get honest answers!

Gabby the Dental Assistant is amazing and so down to earth!! Dr. T was so personal and so kind. The front office ladies are so sweet and explained everything about what our insurance covered!! They are also so accommodating to make your appointments. The office was so clean and cool!! We highly recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist office!!

Rivers Family Dentistry is the best! Doctor Rivers and her entire staff is so nice they really do care they made feel so comfortable I'm so excited to begin my dental work with them.

HIGHLY recommend. I’ve never had a dental emergency, but when I called Rivers’ emergency line, they called me back within 6 minutes. Talk about exceptional care, and they got me in first thing the following morning. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to go on the trip I had planned, but Rivers Dentistry took SUCH great care of me, I was able to go and wasn’t hurting post-op. These are some of the best people I’ve ever had take care of me! My mom has only been telling me to find a dentist since I’ve been down here for college, and now after this emergency, it’s safe to say that I’ve found the best one.

This was the best dental experience I have ever had! Everyone was so kind and made me very comfortable. You can tell they truly strive to make each experience top notch for each patient! I cannot recommend Rivers Family Dentistry enough!
