Risas Dental and Braces - El Mirage

I absolutely appreciate the El Mirage Risas’ front office staff for being both professional and cordial during my visits; the front office sets a positive tone and image upon entry. Dr. Matatova, my preferred dental care provider, has such a consistent warm and friendly disposition when interacting and treating me as a valued patient. Tanya has such excellent communication skills with a kind approach; she is very thorough explaining treatment plans and has a kind nature during exams, consults, and procedures. The practice from front office to back office has top tier, stellar performance delivering quality and affordable care. Thank you for delivering phenomenal patient care!!!!!

Initially, my family was grateful to receive the free dental services and thought it was a commendable act for the community and less fortunate. My opinion quickly changed. After waiting for over three hours to get a regular cleaning. I finally got into the chair only to be told that I needed a deep cleaning and they were not able to provide services today. The dental assistant was very rude and got an attitude when I asked her a simple question. Then proceeded to tell me I needed to purchase a membership in order to get a deep cleaning in which the total cost is over $1,000.00. I politely got out of the chair and declined. I am currently unemployed and do not have insurance; which is why I attended this event in the first place. I am highly disappointed with my expereince. They seem to be more concerned about getting reviews in order to acquire more customers than actually taking care of the customers that were already in the office. It also appears that they are writing their own reviews and deleting those customers who have complained about their services. In my opinion, do not waste your time, energy, or money supporting this establishment. My family will not be using their dental services ever again.

I have been to Risas Dental several times. I have recently brought in my two kiddos and they have been seen by Dr. Magee and her assistant Silvia. They are both so sweet. Very friendly, explains everything well, gentle and quick. Would definitely recommend!

Went in on 10/18 for a filling few months passed filling broke went in back again to have it fixed, that filling broke again. Called to have it fixed asap, asked to speak to a manager she just offered me an "emergency appt" but NOT guaranteed that I will be seen or that I would get treatment done aka my filling fixed. Now I made it an appt to have it fixed. There's no emergency on their part, Ive never had an issue with Risas until I switched to this clinic. Ive had fillings done by them before and never a problem till this one the fact that keeps breaking is crazy. UPDATE: Went in on Saturday 11/09 thankfully my dentist was in & got my filling fixed she stated she used a stronger material let’s see how long this one holds.

After 2 years of wearing braces, my teeth are flared and not straight at all! I HATE THEM!! I left crying when I got them removed. I wish I would have gone elsewhere from the beginning. Now i have to go spend thousands of dollars elsewhere to try to fix them! Do not waste your time or money here!! This photo below is less than 24 hours of removing my braces they are uneven, cluttered and flared out!
