I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chegini for the past five years, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care I’ve received. He is incredibly polite, professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Every visit feels comfortable, and I appreciate how he takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Most importantly, I’ve never experienced any pain during treatments, which speaks volumes about his expertise and gentle approach. LOOK FOR ANOTHE DENTIST OFFICE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A MEDICAL FACILITY THAT OFFERS TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTYI've been going to Reston Family Dental Center located at 1760 Reston Pkwy Ste 415 Reston, VA 20190 for about 2.5-3 years and never had an issue. On one occasion I was asked to go to their location at 1801 Robert Fulton Drive Suite 100 Reston, VA 20191 and never had any issues....My husband is new to their area and needed a new dentist so of course I said you are going to RTC dental. We booked an appointment. Upon arrival, we were met with Ara at the front desk. I would like to state that Ara was VERY friendly, nice and helpful. We waited not even 3 minutes before he was called in. During my husband's visit I decided to ask Ara if our current insurance is better or worse than the one I have on file for myself (I was thinking I should add my husband to my dental plan). My husband texted and asked "doesn't our plan cover extras at 100% and I said yes.. he then said well the doctor said our insurance plan only covers a percentage and we will be responsible for $70. I was a bit baffled but just decided to pay it and planned on calling the insurance company directly. The next day I called the insurance company and I was going to spaz on them but they informed me that there is a certain extra (bitewings as they are referred to) that is covered at 100% and the extras taken were not. I immediately got upset that the the dentist decided to not have FULL TRANSPARENCY with my husband about the type of xrays she was taking for his exam. I called the office to complain. I spoke to one woman (whose name escapes me) and she said the office manager would call me to discuss. But upon explaining to the situation to her, she agreed that the office/doctor should have been transparent on my husband's insurance benefits.I waited the entire day and I finally received a call from this Collette person. This is when things when downhill. She (although not there) said that her staff explained the charges to us and that they did nothing wrong. she also told my husband that the explanation of charges were given to me (when I was speakign with Ara at the front desk) and PRIOR to service which is a lie. She said she has video tape of me speaking to Ara. I never refuted speaking to Ara and even explained that she was quite friendly... HOWEVER, the doctor didn't not clarify that the type of xray that my husband needed was a "comprehensive" xray and one in which is not covered by the insurer at 100%. I proceeded to tell her it is imperative that medical offices explain in full disclosure and transparency what types of services a patient is getting and how it correlates to their coverage. Collette said they DO NOT have to explain the type of xrays or exams to us and be transparent. I was shocked to even hear this. this is exactly why people are frustrated with the medical community, insurance companies. pharmaceutical companies and the like. Collette also would not take our grievance to the owner of the practice, who she claims is her boss. Dr. Gholam Ali Maimee and when we requested his email we only received the general help desk email. Collette is who made this simple situation go awry. I will never go back to RTC dental because they have a practice of keeping vital information from their patients.. information that will enable them to make sound decisions about their medical care. This is negligent and dangerous. I requested my husbands xrays and my dental record history. We will not be returning.

Same amazing dentist in their new location. My fillings were pain-free and dare I say, "fun". It's always great to feel like your dentist would be a friend outside of the dental office setting.

I had the best experience at Reston Dental Care. The entire staff is kind and patient. You are made to feel comfortable and encourage to ask questions. Going to the dentist can sometime be stressful, but this is a wonderful environment. I left very happy and satisfied.
