Rekos & Border Oral Surgery

I recently underwent wisdom teeth extraction performed by Dr. Border, and I am pleased to share my excellent experience. From the first consultation, Dr. Border exhibited a high level of kindness and empathy, which immediately made me feel at ease. His professionalism was evident throughout the procedure, and he took the time to explain each step, even while I was under sedation. I had some initial concerns about the recovery process and the potential for pain since I have a very physically demanding job, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I experienced no complications and very minimal discomfort afterward. This allowed me to return to work and normal activities sooner than I had anticipated. I also have to mention, the office staff were equally impressive, demonstrating a caring and personable approach that contributed to a positive overall experience. I highly recommend Dr. Border for anyone in need of oral surgery, and I will definitely return if I need oral surgery in the future.

Five stars is not fitting to rate Dr Border Who fit me in for an emergent tooth extraction on 8/14/24. Not only is he a skilled and dynamic surgeon but possesses compassion, empathy and grace. I felt well cared for. Thank you! I also want to thank the staff for their excellence and care beginning at the front desk. I had already had three procedures and was visibly nervous about an extraction. Their compassion and obvious skill helped to assure me that I was in good hands. That definitely proved to be so.

Dr. Border was very easy to work with. He was thorough, friendly, and professional. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction throughout the entire process. I had no issues with the implant process. Everything went smoothly and I was relatively pain free at every stage of the procedure. I was completely satisfied.

I recommend Rekos & Border 110%! I am 53. I am more than a little ashamed to admit that I'm absolutely terrified of the dentist. Oral surgery is unspeakably terrifying; another level altogether. It is with this mindset that I approached a tooth removal and implant with Dr. Border and his staff. Thankfully, I couldn't have been more wrong. I explained my trepidation to everyone on the staff-- everyone!-- and they did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and to explain the process. They were extremely professional and extraordinarily patient with me. They met me at my level and worked with me to figure out how to get me through this process, often with some creative thinking over simple things like x-rays. On the two "big surgery" days I received calls directly from Dr. Border hours after leaving the office to make sure I was still okay. I've never had follow-up or care like that for an outpatient surgery before. The thing that surprised me the most was the overall lack of pain or complications in the aftermath of the surgeries. I had prepared myself for a real ordeal and, instead, discovered that I was able to resume pretty normal activities the next day. Discomfort? Sure. Regular eating? Not for a few days. But nothing like I imagined... extremely smooth sailing. I know that oral surgery has come a long way since the 1980's, but this is also the result of a doctor and a staff who are gentle and who really care about the patients. I recommend Rekos & Border quite enthusiastically! This is a good group of people who care about their craft and care about the people they serve.

If you need an oral surgeon, I would recommend Dr. Border enthusiastically. He is very skilled, my wife had a broken tooth removed and an implant placed in the same visit, and she had no complications at all from the surgery. He is very caring and made sure that she was feeling well taken care of. He called her a few hours after the surgery to make sure things were going ok and to see if she had any questions. And in the end, you can't tell the implant from her other teeth. Overall, we had an excellent experience with Dr. Border and the staff. You can't go wrong with this office.

Dr. Border and his staff were INCREDIBLE! Excellent service! He managed to extract my tooth within 5 minutes pain free! I've never had a dentist remove my tooth so clean and effortlessly and never felt a thing! Thank you again for getting me in the same day and taking care of my tooth ache!

Dr. Border and his office were awesome. They made my son feel at ease before getting all four of his wisdom teeth out. He went in right on time, and they called us fifty minutes later to come and get him in recovery. Excellent service and staff!
