Consider yourself warned about Naz, the dental hygienist. She has an aggressive manner and was very disrespectful to me. Her light was shining directly into my eyes, and I mentioned it to her so she gave me a pair of sunglasses. I said thank you but after trying those, it was still piercing. I've never had that problem before as far as the light shining in my eyes like that. I told her that I'm prone to very bad migraines. Without my knowledge, she grabbed a towel from behind me and flung it over my face from probably a foot and half away. It startled me. I was flabbergasted. I don't think I even said anything. She never said anything. She should've informed me that she was going to try a towel over my face not just throw it from across the room. I had to reposition it and count the minutes until my cleaning was finished. I am a senior citizen. I have never experienced such bad treatment in any doctors office EVER. I will never go to her again. I just wanted to give you a heads up before you have to go through anything like I did. I noticed that everyone else in the office seemed very helpful and kind.
Told me I had a cavity when I didn’t. Just want to make money off of you. Avoid at all costs.
Disrespectful, unprofessional and tactless staff. My mom came here for a regular teeth cleaning and check-up, and after they had already done her x-rays, they refused to do the cleaning because they realized she had “no insurance on file”. (1) She does have insurance and has been going to this dentistry for years. The staff failed do their due diligence to verify this beforehand. (2) We’ve had another family member come here before without insurance for cleanings. After Catherine (hygienist) told her multiple times that she can’t clean my mom’s teeth because she does not have insurance, she says they’re short-staffed. I understand places are short-staffed these days, but it doesn’t make sense to use that as an excuse when they’ve already performed the “uninsured” x-rays . She *finally* tells my mom that she can pay cash if she wants— why would you keep saying you can’t do anything today because of no insurance? She made it seem like she didn’t want to work on my mom because she didn’t have insurance, even though it never seemed to be an issue with other patients before. Additionally, the staff member who told her that she didn’t have insurance was loud and was not mindful of my mom’s privacy at all. This is unprofessional and tactless when other patients and staff can hear within an earshot. They made a huge deal over her not having insurance when it should not even be a problem in the first place. Extremely angry by how they can be this unprofessional and embarrass a patient like this. She had waited to see her hygienist and took PTO, which went to waste. Be more mindful of your patients and their situation and time, too.
I’ve been coming here since I was a child. I’ve been to other dentists as well but none have compared (they all try to do unnecessary work and charge me for something I don’t need - not here!!) I have had so many fillings throughout my life due to poor enamel on my teeth. Every time has gone smoothly. I had an injury after snowboarding to my jaw and neck. They respect that, put it in my chart, and I remind them each time I go in. They’re super gentle and give me lots of breaks when needed. Pain free cleanings! They always do a great job cleaning and being thorough to check my fillings whenever I come in. I chipped a tooth a couple weeks ago and they let me know what to expect should it need fixing (it was minor). I will come here as long as I can!
Long wait times. Constant upselling of things not necessary. First thing you should know is I had just switched insurance. So I have a regular cleaning scheduled. No need for X-rays as I had them done recently and wanted to wait for my records to be transferred. After they checked my gums and teeth they recommended deep cleaning! I practically lost it as I just had deep cleaning done just 4 months prior! How is that possible??? I brush and floss at least 2-3 times daily! I declined and they said they would do a regular cleaning but would not do another regular cleaning until "they" did a deep cleaning next time! Unreal! Front office staff is cold as ice like you aren't worthy of their time. Hygienist was nice and I think I saw the doctor for a whopping 45 seconds. If there is 2 words to sum this Dental Group I would have to say "Dental Mill"! Avoid at all cost!
