I have been to Dr Emami before so I am well aware of his expertise and professionalism. This is why I went to him recently after my dentist did a root canal that did not change my tooth pain. My dentist told me it may be a "failed root canal" with my only choice to remove the tooth to get rid of the pain. I asked for a second opinion with Dr. Emami. He listened to my vague tooth pain symptoms, examined the tooth, did his own xrays and had me come back every 2 weeks until he had addressed what he believed the issue(s) were that were causing my tooth pain. He then encouraged me after treatment to continue to wait and be patient for the remaining pain to pass. It has, and I got to keep my own tooth! I have no doubt that this result is because of Dr. Emami and his incredible staff.

I had a root canal done on the last molar up left, about a month ago. Dr Emami was very reassuring and did a really great job. To give a little bit of context, I had another root canal done on a different tooth a few years back, in Germany; this was the worst experience I have ever had with my teeth, I went through excruciating pain and was simply traumatized by it. Dr. Emami promised me that I would not feel any pain, and he was right. Of course, I can't say that the whole experience was very pleasant, and I dealt with a little bit of jaw pain for a day after the root canal was done. This is due to the fact that the jaw has to be kept open for about one hour. Also, my mouth is very small, so the x-rays were not exactly pleasant either. But these are normal things and in no way to be blamed on the staff. If you happen to be someone who was traumatized by a root canal done in the past, I can only recommend Dr. Emami and confirm that this type of procedure is actually totally painless, when done well!

In my opinion, Dr. Mark Emami is at the top of his game. Unfortunately, due to poor oral care in my youth, I've had many root canals. Dr. Emami performed a root canal on me today. It was literally painless and he was done within 90 minutes. I actually fell asleep during the procedure. Thank god for the dental block to keep your mouth open. His office is clean, modern and nicely appointed. His assistant Mei is very kind and his practice manager, Ivana, is very efficient. I had an issue w/my insurance resulting in a lapse in coverage which took over 2 weeks to resolve. She followed up w/my dental insurance company prior to my root canal appt to ensure that I had active coverage prior to my appt. I paid cash for the initial consult because my insurance was not active. They could've easily kept the $ from the consult but they were honest and applied what I paid in cash for the initial consult towards my deductible so that I only had to pay the remaining sum which was not much $. I, without hesitation, recommend Quincy Center for Endodontics and Dr. Mark Emami for you endodontic needs.

For anyone who needs a root canal procedure done, I would highly recommend Quincy Center For Endodontics (QCE). Dr. Emami and his staff are wonderful! It was my first time getting a root canal done and I felt extremely nervous. Dr. Emami was very professional and provided me with a sense of comfort as he explained and updated me on everything from start to finish. He even gave me a call to check in to make sure all is well. He was very gentle and precise throughout the entire procedure. I would recommend Dr. Emami and the QCE staff to anyone!

I have had three root canals under Dr. Emami. One was very tricky. I had no complications or residual pain. He is incredibly competent with a warm, understanding bedside manner. His staff is friendly and efficient as well. Would easily recommend to anyone in need of his services!
