Customer Reviews
Premier Care Dental Group of Pasadena has earned my endorsement due to the exceptional treatment I received from Dr. Lamb and the payment arrangements facilitated by Lisa. While the treatment duration was longer than anticipated, the results were satisfactory. I will return in December for minor follow-up procedures and recommend this dental practice for its commitment to cleanliness and hygiene, demonstrating that advanced equipment is not necessary for quality care. Also, I appreciate the honest and humanitarian vision from all professional teams at Premier Care Dental Group of Pasadena. A special thanks to Lisa and Dr. Lamb. See you soon. Patrizia
I'm not "Family", but they still get five stars. They are the Starship Enterprise of the dentistry world. They solve problems by looking at it from every angle, getting input from all the people who work so diligently to solve problems there every day. And most important to me they ask for my opinion too. Together we got to the bottom of it. I like that. Now getting in the kitchen and make me a sandwich-just kidding.
I had my first ever visit with this dental group today, and to say it was horrible is an understatement. Off the bat filling out the initial paperwork, there's a form to acknowledge a new cancer testing procedure that obviously isn't covered by insurance, clue number one. X-rays were taken, par for the course, then what I believed to be the orthodontist comes in, I assumed to begin the cleaning, extraction process, but it was actually just a consult. She pulls out a camera, shows me some things inside my mouth, and begins to tell me things that I've never heard in my 50 years of having dental visits, specifically things I know aren't true, clue number two. I had marked on my registration form that I had high blood pressure, so my blood pressure was taken, and I was advised that I need a doctor sign off before any procedure can be taken, including a basic cleaning. Again, this is my first experience with this type of situation, and I've been going to the dentist for over 50 years, nothing online, including numerous research articles say there's a risk from having high blood pressure and dental services rendered, clue number three. I was then taken to the office of what I assumed was a financial consultant, something akin to how a car dealership operates, she begins to tell me everything that the previous consultatant wanted done and threw me out a number of about $5,000 outside of my insurance! Last straw! Big dental group that focuses on the money grab instead of providing the basic care needed! On top of that, the facilities definitely could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, new carpet, some minor repairs, and update of some of the technology. They had a twelve inch TV/VCR combo in the room I was in! 1980 called and wants their tech back! SMH Definitely avoid.
I was assigned this dentist when I switched to HMO. Everything was fine and reasonable until I had to wait over 30min for the person who goes over the cost of treatment plans with you. From the start, she was always asking if I wanted what the doctor recommended. I told her I only want what my insurance covers. She seemed taken aback and “well we’ll see what the hygienist wants”. I told her again that I have my coverage and prices with me. So I know my benefits. She then took another 10 minutes to calculate what I needed for it to com out to about $700. $700 to fix 2-3 fillings and a “deep clean”. I told her right now, I would only want my basic cleaning please. She then said that no. The hygienist would not do a basic clean on me. That I must do the deep clean because I had gum disease or whatever. That’s a big red flag. I told her no thank you, I’ll go somewhere else. She didn’t fight me and said okay, have a nice day. I will not be going back. The reviews are right that they try and scam you out of money.
Best Dental care Group in Sothern California. Dr. Allen and His Wonderful staff are all very professional. Totally recommend giving them a shot at being you future Dental Care Group.
I went to an emergency yesterday with this dentist because my crown came off. The doctor told me that my tooth had a cavity and that my crown was fractured without even having checked it for a second. They took 19 x rays, she told me she couldn't cement my crown back because I needed a new one. The doctor refused to put the crown on me because she wanted to take advantage and charge me for a new one. Today I came to another dental clinic, they took out x-rays again and my tooth has no cavities, and the crown is perfectly fine. Please don't go to this place, they are big liars who only want to make money. here I leave you the photo of the lying doctor who treated me. They are shameless doctors who deceive patients, they have no empathy at all, they just want money, they are thieves. Please read comments before going to this clinic, do your research because you can still find honest doctors, not like these thieves.
