Prairie Dental Center

I grew up going to this dentist, and I decided to come back. The new building is very nice and modern. Brittany was my hygienist and she was very thorough and gentle with my cleaning, and she created conversation which helped calm my nerves. I’m a photographer, so she even let me take a few action photos of the process. They found I had a chip in one of my back teeth that I needed filled. I was quite nervous because I had never needed any work done on my teeth before. Dr. Mallory was amazing. I didn’t feel a thing during the filling, and she was very communicative so I knew what was happening. 10/10 experience and satisfaction.

Absolutely loved this caring staff. They suspected I had nerve damage that was causing my pain, and they have politely and with expertise referred me to a place that can help with the nerve damage. Essentially, the whole staff is very competent and willing to take care of their patients. I especially had a great experience with the receptionist Kenean! Definitely recommend this dental office! Very acceptable in all regards!

Myself, my wife and our two kids were new patients of PDC and our experience has been very short, and has not been not good at all after only having had a few visits with them. My wife had to go back in to have a mistake that was causing her pain corrected and they still were unable to fix the issue on a tooth that wasn’t even a problem to begin with. Now, since they suspect there is nerve damage causing her pain, they have referred my wife away to a place where we will have to pay out of pocket to be seen to see if there is actually nerve damage. I had recent work done there about a week and an half ago and have been experiencing issues as a result of their work but don’t want them to cause any more damage with the track record so far. Essentially, they are incompetent and unwilling to take care of their mistake and when being called out, they decided to discharge my family as patients instead of help resolve the issue like professionals. Just unacceptable in all regards.

As a recently ( as in today ) discharged new patient at Prairie dental , I initially visited for a routine cleaning and later returned to address minor decay in teeth that already had fillings. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. During the procedure, sensitivity in one tooth worsened, leaving me unable to eat comfortably or even floss without discomfort. Despite this, the clinic dismissed my concerns without acknowledgment or a proposed solution. Now, I may require further treatment, potentially a root canal, all at my own expense. This is particularly frustrating as there were no issues with these teeth before the recent work. While I appreciated their initial friendliness, it’s concerning that their approach shifted when I raised these concerns, which may even approach the level of medical malpractice. I hope to resolve this professionally and encourage the clinic to reach out to discuss a solution. Otherwise, I may need to seek additional professional guidance.

The staff at Prairie Dental is awesome. They are always so friendly and helpful. I high recommend the care I receive from Dr. Nichols and the hygienists. A+
