Power Smiles Dental Care

10/10 would recommend to anyone! If you’re scrolling through reviews like I was recently and trying to find a new dentist then make an appointment! After searching for a new dentist for over 2 years my husband and I decided to give Dr Herr a try because of the great reviews. I walked in and was immediately greeted with friendly faces and taken back right away. The hygienist, Laura, was so sweet, knowledgeable, and gentle! After she was done I met Dr Herr and his bedside manner was excellent. He was thorough, friendly, and answered all of my questions. I asked about teeth whitening and he gave me options on products and said his professional opinion about each product but never once tried to sell me on anything. He was never pushy and never made me feel rushed. Finding a new dentist is stressful and I feel so grateful to have found this practice.

Arrived on time and was greeted with big smiles and acknowledgement that I had completed the on line paperwork in full. I was escorted to the back area by Laura who genuinely cared about my well being and comfort as a new patient. You know those people who are so real you feel like you’ve known them all your life? She requested my full X-rays from my previous dentist from another city and they were there for Dr. Kerr to review before he saw me. We had some regular X-rays done and Laura made sure they showed every aspect that needed to be seen. Then she ask me pertinent questions about my chronic illness that affects every aspect of my life. She made sure she created the most positive experience she could making adaptations as needed for my sensitivity. She complimented the care of my teeth and did her best to work on the areas I couldn’t get cleaned thoroughly. Then she brought Dr.Kerr in and he was just as genuine and kind as Laura. He took the time to greet me with interest and excellent listening skills. Dentists that give you eye contact and exhibit a sense of openness are appreciated especially when they have an established business and are busy. I wasn’t just another person coming, I was his patient and he was taking responsibility for my care. He realized I was in a hurry and was quick and polite facilitating my departure. The office was amazingly comfortable and welcoming from the delightful receptionist to the gorgeous Portugal scenery on the TV that calms and provides a wonderful distraction. A+ on every count! Thank you!

I had my first appointment at Power Smiles after recently moving to the area and I can say without a doubt, that this was the best dental experience I have ever had. I have been to more than a handful of other offices back in California and always left either feeling ripped off or a little traumatized. Laura the dental hygienist was so kind and asked questions to get a complete history of my past dental experiences to better understand my anxiety. She then took her time examining me, explaining what she saw and taking pictures so I could see too. My mouth felt great when she was done cleaning. When Dr. Herr came in to finish the exam he was equally friendly and funny. For once I am actually looking forward to my next visit in a few months.

It’s taken me almost 10 years to find a dentist I like here in Arizona but now I found one!! As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a warm sincere welcome! The wait was quick, the hygienist was amazingly detailed and knowledgeable and the dentist was not pushy or awkward but very personable. I had a great experience!

This place has the best staff, the Hygienist Laura was so nice and so friendly, she told my daughter everything that was going to happen (since it was her first time) and just made it an overall great experience. The dentist was also very nice when he came in to talk to us, everyone in the office made us feel welcome.
