Powell Family Dental

I have been with Powell Family Dental for over 15yrs. Dr. Powell is very tentative and gentle with me and treated me very well since I have a fear of dentist. I am very happy with my care and hope to spend the next 15yrs with Powell Family Dental!!!!

They did not spend quality time on my dental cleaning but worst of all the dental hygienist misgendered me. I have super short hair and was wearing all male clothes when she referred to me as “she”. I am obviously not women presently. Disgusting for me to experience this in a healthcare setting where they should be looking at my chart and pronouns. Not queer friendly :( Do better

Powell Family Dental actually makes me look forward to visiting the dentist! They are so kind, and everyone from the front desk to the dental techs to Dr. Powell are so kind! They also work quickly to get you in and out! I love that you can see everything they're looking at on the big screen. I had 2 cavities filled totally painlessly through the latest and greatest technology. No more suffering through horrible mouth numbing shots, or having your teeth drilled into, resulting in weeks of pain. Love this place!

LOVE Powell Family Dental! Dr. Powell has been my dentist since I was 15 years old and now my kids see him also. He's wonderful, kind, funny and friendly! Dr. Powell takes great care of us and always does excellent dental work! I appreciate that has the most up to date dental technology. His staff is also very friendly and they always make us feel welcome.

I would to thank all the staff at Powell for making our first visit amazing. Starting with a very warm welcome at the front desk! My children's wonderful hygienist was friendly, fun and patient. Dr. Powell treated my children with enthusiasm. He not only was very kind to me but listened and showed interest in his new patients, a 5 year old and 2 year old. We are new to Woodbury and I am so very excited and thankful to have found a great dental office. As a mom of three little ones, I recommend Powell Family Dentristy for being extremely child friendly and very kind.
