Portland Modern Dentistry

I had the best experience ever at Portland Modern Dentistry. First, I received a reminder about my appointment a few times prior to it, which was very helpful. Jaiden, a dental assistant, took amazing X-rays and was so fast and efficient. Chime who is a dental hygienist, was very thorough, gentle and very detail oriented with cleaning. Dr. Todd did an amazing restoration for me. Highly recommended.

I want to start by saying that I am a dental assistant. That being said, I am a patient at Portland Modern Dentistry and cannot say enough about how much I trust mine and my family’s dental care to this team! I have been a patient of Dr Todd’s office since 2020. This office is clean and safe and amazing in every way! I am very happy with the care I receive here! Thanks y’all!

Nice people, but one of the worst run businesses I have been to in a long time. I spent 1 hour and 40 minutes there for a normal dental check-in, and didn't even get to teeth cleaning before I just walked out do to how long everything was taking. I was told "the doctor will be right in a minute" (second time, first of which took 25 minutes for him to appear) and then I waited 10 minutes, walked around the office and saw him in the middle of a procedure. Then I left. TLDR: if you value your time, find a better run dentist office. Otherwise, if you are fine spending 2-3 hours for a normal dental cleaning, which should take 30-45 minutes at a well run location - this may be for you.

Modern is an understatement. The most current technology. Very kind staff. Dr. Newton happily answered all my questions and encouraged open communication. The consult was kind and pragmatic. The hygienist was quick and thorough (and funny). Highly recommend!

I had a great experience here as a new patient. Check in was easy and staff were helpful and friendly. Jaidyn (if I remember correctly) is an amazing tech, they made me feel comfortable during the xray part. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Newton; great communicator, knowledgeable, and trauma-informed. Chime was a wonderful hygienist. There was some wait time between parts of my visit, but they made sure to keep me informed about when and how long I'd be waiting. I'd definitely recommend the team at Portland Modern Dentistry!
