From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Gustavo at the front desk. He sat down with me in the waiting room and explained the paperwork well; other staff in other offices often mechanically hand you paperwork and say “fill this out.” Once I met with Dr. Pleitez, I was comforted by his calmness and attention to detail. He patiently answered all of my questions and explained what the procedure would entail. As the procedure was being performed, he kept me updated with the progress and checked in often to make sure I was comfortable because of my troublesome gag reflex.
