Pleasant Valley Dentistry

All of my appointments starting with the initial consultation have been positive. I knew I needed some work done and after evaluation of my ex-rays and a thorough exam they presented the dental plan to me. Dr. Tovar's work is very meticulous and I feel confident that he has my best interest at heart. He leans on the conservative side with his evaluations which is comforting to me. I also got a follow-up call from Dr. Repta to see how I was doing after an appt and I hadn't even met her yet. Pleasant Valley Dentistry is privately owned and it shows!

Our family has been going here for the past ten years and have never had a bad experience. Recently I experienced a tooth issue and they did everything they could to get me in, looked at, and made the call to the oral surgeon to get me seen that day! Dr. Tovar, Rachel and the entire staff are fantastic.

This office is fantastic. The front desk is wonderful. The staff is most friendly and accommodating. Dr. Tovar exceeded all excectations. He is honest, caring and full of integrity. I would highly recommend this office for any dental work or routine care.

All of the staff were gracious and accommodating. I was even asked if I would like a water upon arrival and on my way out. There is a new dentist at the office. This doctor went out to the lobby and introduced herself to me telling me about herself and what I could expect for my next visits, very pleasant and professional. Of course my provider was great as always and the hygienist was amazing too. Well done everyone.

Get a second opinion before agreeing to procedures!! I don't typically like to leave bad reviews but this office has been the worst. I was a patient at this office for a few years before I'd had enough and left for another dentist. The doctor has the worst bedside manner, he's very demeaning in how he speaks to people, he made me feel judged and put down by him on several different occasions simply for not being able to afford his overinflated service prices, (My insurance kept denying the claims he submitted so he expected me to pay cash full price and his prices are insanely higher than my new dentist), but I can handle someone being rude. What really bothered me about this dentist is the fact that he IS NOT HONEST. I was told repeatedly (over two - three visits) that I have two severe cavities that needed root canals. My insurance denied the claims, and when I couldn't afford the full cash price, I decided to see another dentist and get a second opinion. Imagine my surprise when the new dentist said "What cavities?" I DONT HAVE ANY CAVATIES, but this dentist said I have two severe enough to need root canals. Totally unacceptable! This place feels like a used car dealership, just grabbing for money, and the moment you don't fork it over, the doctor treats you like sub-human. I highly recommend finding another dentist, and absolutely get a second opinion if this dentist says you need some expensive procedure!
