I’ve recently moved to Sioux Falls and have been searching for a new dentist. It’s not always easy trying to find a new health care provider, especially when you’re new and don’t know anyone for recommendations. I had gotten some work done before moving here and was experiencing irritation with a tooth. I had it rechecked back in my hometown after the work got done as it was tender weeks after. They were talking about possible issues with separate tooth. I decided to wait until I moved here to get it checked once again.I decided to try Pillar Dental based off their stellar reviews and photos. At my first appointment, from the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with smiles and comforting spirits from everyone. On top of that, the building is beautiful, inside and out. I was assigned to Dr. Palmer and her assistant, Justine. Both are truly so great at what they do, and how they do it. X-rays were good however, they could tell that my new crown was colliding with a bottom tooth, thus causing pain when touched. Dr. Palmer made an adjustment and had me monitor it. I immediately felt relief. I no longer had the sharp pain from a simple bite or touch. Although my bite was no longer a bother to me, I started to experience sharp pain from what I thought was a separate tooth. Possibly the tooth my previous dentist was talking about. I went back to get evaluated. This time I got a panoramic X-ray. Dr. Palmer stated that I had an infected root canal in the tooth I had my new crown. Root canals aren’t always the most fun, however, Dr. Palmer and Justine made this root canal procedure experience the most pleasant tooth operation I’ve ever had done. No pain during the procedure and most importantly, waking up the next day completely free of any tooth ache or pain is one of the most relieving and greatest feelings. Especially having had pain/irritation since my last procedure months prior. Dr. Palmer educated me on the process to ensure I knew exactly what was going to be taking place. They consistently asked if I was comfortable and just treated me with ultimate care. A dynamic duo. I can’t thank them enough. If you get these two, consider it a bonus.I recommend Pillar Dental to anyone looking for a consistent, professional, and comforting dentistry. Trustworthy and most importantly, caring.

This is the only place I recommend!!! When we were recommended here from a friend, it had been a while since my last cleaning. Brooke has always taken care of me and has been very protective in preventing serious problems. The way they work with insurance is so fast and typically have a price for any work within that visit. Their new location is state of the art and is always clean.

Beautiful facility!! Staff are super friendly even when I showed up a day early 🙂...I felt so comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Pillar is very attentive, friendly and explains everything thoroughly. Have to say I love this place!!

This dental practice was great for my whole family. They were patient, explained everything, and were great with my kids: better than pediatric dentists my children had been to in other communities. Even my 4 year old was able to sit and have a cavity filled with almost no fuss. My oldest child has a cavity that has been done elsewhere fall out and Pillar Dental was able to get him in quickly and get it refilled. The hygienists were also great - my teeth always felt so clean after my appointments. We moved recently and Pillar Dental is one of the businesses I miss most. Their superior communication skills, respect for their patients and skill in completing the work were all things I appreciated. I highly recommend Pillar Dental.

I continue to bring my daughter to Pillar dental because they do phenomenal work with her. Courtney is so kind and patient with her and I attribute a large part of my daughter doing so well at the dentist to Courtney and the rest of the staff at Pillar. We have seen Dr. Palmer and Dr. Pillar and they are both so kind and explain things really well too! We started going to Pillar when my daughter turned 2 and will continue as long as they are around!
