The dentist and staff were absolutely great with Cameron. He had a great time and is ready to go back. They gave him the remote, jazzy sunglasses, and the loan of a plushie! Cam is sensitive to being touched, but he was distracted and happy.

I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time and moved to the Richmond area a few years ago. I’ve had bad dental experiences growing up so I was not looking forward to finding a new dentist after my move and put it off for much longer than I should have. My first appointment this week at Penterson & Booth completely changed my view on dentistry as a whole. The entire process was flawless and stress free. Every single person I worked with through the process made it so easy as a new patient. Scheduling was simple and helpful even when I had multiple questions. The appointment itself was nothing like any other visit I’ve experienced in the past with other dentists. Upon arrival, I was greeted by extremely friendly staff. I was nervous after such a long time away from the dentist. I was greeted by Madison, who got me settled in the dental chair. I’m not sure if she could tell how nervous I was, but she was so friendly and talked to me for a few minutes about random topics. It helped put me at ease and it was a truly genuine conversation, not just vague, forced small talk. Whether realizing it or not, she calmed me down immensely. Samantha came in and began the process I was dreading. Reoccurring theme at this point in the review, but she blew away any expectations I had. Samantha was calming, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She explained everything that we’d be doing during my visit and answered any questions I had. She listened to concerns I had with my teeth and advised what she was doing every step of the way. She taught me things about teeth I never knew about. Most dentists I’ve been to just tell people to floss more or say vague things like “this is going to hurt a bit”. Samantha explained what tools were used for and what they’re doing/look at. She checked in with me every step of the way to make sure I was doing alright. She did such an amazing job and was gentle yet efficient. My teeth have never felt and looked so good. I was never rushed or made to feel like just another number or patient. I needed to schedule a follow-up visit to address something minor and the office staff was able to present me with pricing breakdowns and explanations that made everything transparent and easy to understand. I left with no questions and feeling amazing. I cannot say enough good things about my recent visit and I will be a lifetime customer. I’ve told so many people in the past few days about my experience and it would have been a disservice not to include a review. If anybody has any type of anxiety with going to the dentist, this is definitely the place for you.

Truly a remarkable practice they have state of art technology pain, free wonderful doctor wonderful technicians pleasant front desk, hard to find service like this anywhere on this planet. I’m so glad I found this practice for my dental care and they’re also very careful. I’m a liver transplant, patient and they make sure that I’m well protected so I’m so appreciative And highly recommend. Ps the crown fit perfectly ?

I’ve been a patient here for a few years. My first experience was great! Being a busy, full time (5 days a week on-site), mom of preteen twins, my experience today was refreshing. They took care of all 3 of us around the same time. Sam was my hygienist and was such a truly authentic, empathetic and caring person. Hours after my visit, as I reflect on my day, her positive energy renewed my strength. The world needs more people like her. Thank you Sam!

My family and I have been patients at this practice since 1996 and would never consider going anywhere else. Bob Penterson retired and his daughter along with her husband now practice there. The dental hygienists do a thorough job, are very friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this practice.
