My experience at Pecos Dental was amazing from start to finish. Not only did I feel the doctor alone was helpful, genuinely caring, communicative but the entire team in general from the receptionist, office manager, and dental assistants. I came from a previous not so good experience to Pecos Dental. I was very hesitant but the doctor kept me in the loop of what they were going to do and listen to my concerns and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I am absolutely grateful. I completely recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuinely compassionate team. Thank you so much!!

Dr. Santiago and his whole team from front office (Ms Eva)to the dental assistants (Ms. Martha) and of course Mr Eugene the the dental hygienist, are all great at their jobs. Absolutely professional all the way through. And my teeth look and feel great! Thank you all for my short notice and quick fix today! Hands down, the only place I trust with my teeth.

Dr. Santiago and his team provide kind, compassionate, care and take the time to explain the steps they are taking. I have been a patient at Pecos Dental for over 20 years now and have seen Dr. Santiago a few times in the last year. His team has answered all my questions and they were patient with me through my concerns and fears of the procedures I have had each time. They are very thorough and gentle as they work, and I really appreciate their kindness. They may be very busy, but they make you feel like the most important patient they have and like you’re the only person there.

Employees are very courteous staff greet you with a smile. Eugene has cleaned my teeth a couple of times and for 60 something years I have always had to get injections for cleaning he is the best no shots. Explains and demonstrates exactly what to do to protect your teeth and help them to heal. Would definitely recommend people's dentist to my friends and family

By far Dr. Santiago is the best dentist we have ever had in the valley. Hubby and I are new patients and so far, we are happy with the service and work being done. From root canal, to teeth (multiple) removal, to cleaning. Definitely and highly recommended. We were referred by my mother-in-law and glad she did.

READ BEFORE ATTENDING PRACTICE My family and I had been patients of the Family Practice, Pecos Dental, for 29 years. Unfortunately, I have had to have several surgeries to fix injuries to my teeth over the years. Last year, I came to Dr. Santiago with an infection cause by an old root canal that called for the tooth to be pulled and bone graphing to be done before a replacement was put it in. After the surgery, Dr. Santiago prescribed me a small amount of pain medication to remedy the discomfort. Post-surgery, I go to my pharmacist and he tells me my doctor had an expired license and i was unable to pick up my prescription. I then went to 3 other pharmacists in town and they all told me the same thing. In pain and understandably confused, I call Dr. Santiago's office and no resolution was offered. But I was okay with that. In my mind stuff happens and I just dealt with the pain for several days after, no big deal. I then have a total of 3 check ups, the following months, and when it came to put my abutment in for the replacement tooth, Dr. Santiago and his office went silent on me. I called, I texted, my parents called, could not get a response from my dentist who had three months ago pulled my front tooth out of my mouth. A total of 74 days goes by until I get a response from the office, at 6:30AM! The office doesn't open until 9am, so why would they return my call before office hours? Because they didn't want to talk to me at all. They told me that they would be dropping me as a patient and said that myself and my family were a liability to their practice. They did not provide any reasoning other than that I followed up too much and they felt that my family didn't need to get involved. Mind you, my entire family was patients of the practice at the time and had been for 29 years. This was a family practice. Also mind you. I had been without a front tooth, working in a professional setting, for over a year at this point. Dr. Santiago then refused to talk to me personally and explain what was the matter. I had to physically go in a demand an explanation and he still could not provide a reasoning that would suffice dropping me as a patient and leaving me out to dry with NO TOOTH in my mouth! During my meeting with Dr. Santiago and his assistant, he told me I was a liability to him because I could tell people he had an expired license. The fact is, I never told anyone that. The Fact is I WAS BEING TOLD THIS BY EVERY PHARMACIST IN TOWN I WENT TO, that this was the case. This came as a surprise to me because after the initial incident I forgot all about it and didn't think anything of it. As explained, I went to several check ups afterwards and Dr. Santiago never hinted at the fact that he would refuse to perform the remained of my must-needed procedures. Instead, they refused my call, texts, and emails for months on end leaving me out to dry weeks before the holiday season causing me to wait several months until I could get an appointment with another specialist. It is unfortunate because I thought very highly of Dr. Santiago and his nurses. They were always kind and helpful. I had been attending this practice for 29 years and to be kicked out and made to feel as if I was disrespectful in any way is GASLIGHTING at it's finest. Despite this practice attempting to make me feel guilty for continuing to follow up for my appointment, despite Dr. Santiago and his staff blatantly disrespecting my family members in front of me, and despite Dr. Santiago gaslighting me telling my family is the reason he is dropping me as a patient, when indeed it was because he was afraid I would tell people he had an expired license... Despite all of this, I looked Doc in the eyes, shook his hand like a man, thanked him for his time and asked one final time, if he could provide a sufficient reason as to why he was dropping me as a patient. He could not. All of this said, please do your homework before attending this practice.
