My child has special needs and this is the only place I'll take him. He was a patient elsewhere, but in order to fill a cavity they said he had to be in the operating room. So per a friend's recommendation we switched to Pasternack and we are so glad we did! My son had cavities when we switched and they were able to use gas to lightly sedate him in their office. Ever since going here my son hasn't had a new cavity and practices better dental hygiene. The staff is so welcoming and make him feel very comfortable. It helps having the arcade games in the lobby to take their mind off of the dentist until their name is called. We're very pleased with the care here and we've been coming here a couple of years now.

I have been going to the Pasternack's for 8 years, starting with my oldest and over the years taking my other 2. I liked the way Dr Pasternack was able to help my son with his crowns. Recently I have been questioning their limited services & if u get medicaid u get bottom of the barrel treatment/services. Ok whatever still tried to stick it thru bc my kids never been to another dentist. At the last appointment, I asked for a print out of my children records and i told them to keep them in the system because my exact words when the older white lady with the black hair asked me if i was looking for another dentist, i said "I am not sure yet, keep them in the system" and I refused the silver caps bc they are not aesthetically pleasing and for whatever reason they don't "recommend" or do white caps in the back. So because i asked for a print out, i was informed that they put notes on my account that I said i was going to another dentist bc i asked for a print out. This is what the Hispanic lady with the heavy accent told me. Yeah because i wanted to match up the services they received with the insurance papers i got in the mail and I also reiterated to keep them in the system. Ok, so now when my son who has been a patient for 8 years, 8 years!!! is having an emergency, I am unable to be serviced and the first thing they asked is "who's the new dentist". Obviously its none if I am asking for an appointment. And its like my kids been patients for years, 8 years!!! Like the Pasternack's know us and for them to refuse service in the case of my sons emergency (he need a tooth pulled that cracked, severe pain and it cant be fixed...oh they don't pull permanent teeth, even in an emergency & the dentist number they gave me, booked until November so yeah no help at all bc they think I have a new dentist bc I asked for a print out. Mind you, they didn't even say lets bring him in so they can see the tooth and then assess what need to be done, NO, they strictly just kept mentioning another dentist that i don't have. This is ridiculous and I am making the necessary steps to assure this will not happen again. I can't say I am surprised because again, Medicaid, limited services so they don't go above and beyond, only what the insurance going to pay for. Even tho I always tell them, the insurance doesn't matter, if its going to determine our level of treatment. This just let me know that it doesn't matter how long and dedicated u been to one health care provider, they will drop u if u ask for your child records.

Dr. P was soo great to me and most importantly my daughter. Unfortunately, we were unable to move forward with him. The only reason I can’t give a 5 star review is due to how I was treated by the scheduling coordinator Glenda. She was so rude, insensitive and unpleasant to me when asking questions regarding my daughter. She clearly doesn’t like her job and should take a course in customer service. Besides her, I would definitely recommend this office.

We just had a our first visit here and it was amazing! They have great Covid protocols, so I felt very safe with my daughter there. They staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I made the mistake of giving them the wrong insurance info, and was told I had to pay out of pocket. Which was totally fine since I gave them the wrong info. They ended up discounting my visit which was very nice of them. Even though my insurance doesn’t cover them, I plan on returning because my experience here was amazing.
