I dreaded making this post as I’ve gone to Dr Coker since high school…. Went back to him after returning from college years later and my teeth have never been worse. I’m not sure what they use for composite but it WILL turn yellow. I spent a lot of money out of pocket to have fillings in between my front teeth that HE DID ten years ago redone because over time they do discolor.. years ago they looked great and lasted me but I’m afraid Dr Coker has made his money and should probably retire as he’s not as good as he once was…. The first time my fillings were so yellow I had to complain and go back to get them color matched better, second time I went back he left a gap in my two front teeth.. it’s extremely nerve racking to speak up but I did and had him fill the gap for my 3rd and FINAL visit which now left my teeth looking crooked because instead of filling each side evenly he quickly grinded one side down filled it in and sent me out and may I add they still look dark yellow.. how is the composite darker then my real teeth? How embarrassing to smile! these are my front teeth, it’s very noticeable! Unfortunately my teeth looked better before I saw him again. Sometimes you shouldn’t take on work you aren’t good at, he should have simply priced me out for crowns and never put composite on my teeth but his communication is awful!! He’s now grinded my natural teeth down so far I will never get them back… I was devastated.. I mean crying for weeks over this, I value my smile. I was considering legal action but after speaking with lawyers I let it all go….I was sick of crying over my smile….unfortunately you can’t do much for someone that is just simply not talented - that’s my error for ever trusting him after screwing up the first two times. Won’t be getting another dime from me that’s for sure… just warning y’all this practice has been around for years -he only cares about insurance money and sending you out the door, do not do anything cosmetic or around the front of your smile..
