I'm extremely disappointed with this office. They waited until I was at the clinic for my appt to tell me they did not receive my referral or records from the ortho (they had a month to get them). They did not attempt to call the ortho to receive the records at that time either. They should have let me know ahead of time so that I could pick up a physical copy from my ortho for them. I assumed they at least had records and just wanted a physical copy of the referral. That was my mistake. I told them which tooth I thought it may be but was not 100% sure. The receptionist said, "It's ok". They went ahead with the examination, it turned out to be the incorrect tooth. They refused to do another exam on the correct tooth for no additional cost saying it was my fault that I told them the incorrect tooth and failed to take any responsibility for not getting the information needed prior to the appt. It felt very unprofessional. Why would you not make sure to get the referral/records prior to the appt? Clients very rarely fully understand what we need, as we are not dentists. The doctor was also extremely rough when taking measurements of my gums and did not seem to care that I was in pain. It always hurts a little but this was excruciating pain. An area on my gums started to swell (where I've previously had an abscess) right after the exam and the following day I found a large lump. All around it was a negative experience. I would not recommend this clinic.
I was reffered to Pacific Endodontics the day before Thanksgiving. I had been enduring ongoing pain and looked forward to getting in as soon as possible. I was called within two hours to schedule an evaluation. Unfortunately I missed the call and needed to wait until Monday after the holiday to call back. When I called Monday I was able to get an appointment for an evaluation and a root canal within the week. After I made both appointments with a very nice person that answered the phone I looked up the reviews. Honestly I felt really nervous because I was in pain and saw poor reviews. ? I now know that absolutely everyone in the practice is wonderful! I really appreciate how kind and attentive both Dr. Sherry and her assistants were. Dr. Sherry took her time answering questions before she started. I needed a little extra local anesthetic to get me through comfortably. I have had a few root canal’s and this experience was definitely the best. I would highly recommend Dr. Sherry and will choose her again if need be.
What a great office! I have had many terrible experiences with "the dentist" and had 2 weeks of anxiety ridden days about this visit for a root canal. The day of the procedure, I arrived to the office parking lot early and sat there for about 15 minutes conemplating if I wanted to go in. I did go in but still had so much anxiety that I couldn't stop crying. Tears were literally pouring down my face and I was shaking all over. Dr. Sherry Bloomfield and the entire staff was so great. They understood I clearly had prior traumas and did all they could to ensure I was comfortable. Whenever I felt anything after being numbed (whether real or imagined feelings) Dr. Sherry made sure to make me comfortable again. By time we were half way through the root canal, the tears had stopped and my all over body shakes were gone. By time I got up from the chair, I was able to smile again and told Dr. Sherry that I could hug her because I felt so much better. Dr. Sherry and Pacific Endodontics has changed my outlook on dental care. While I still have some underlying fears about going to the dentist, I don't feel as anxious anymore. From the front desk with her welcoming smile to the dental techs and Dr. Sherry, a huge Thank you for helping me to be more comfortable with "the dentist"
The level of disappointment is unmeasurable. I called on a Friday needing an emergency appointment due to a root canal that had a piece of filling rubbing my gums- I knew this because I had a dentist already diagnosed the problem and suggested I find an endodontist. I called and the receptionist I spoke with was extremely convincing that I would be seen to resolve my pain with a root canal on the following Monday. I was flexible with a time change and spoke to her again about the probability of the procedure happening (as nothing is 100%) but she stated “the reasons we couldn't perform will be if there is something you aren't able to do ''. I explained my level of pain so I just had to make sure I would be able to be treated. She booked me and gave me full confidence. I paid upfront before the procedure was performed - cash no insurance. I went in for my appointment and received x-rays and with the diagnosis ( that I already knew) the first thing she said was “we will have to schedule you for this appointment as we don't have time for that type of procedure last min”. I walked to reception and their first available was two weeks out. As I stated before, I was in a lot of pain and obviously not going to wait two weeks. There are a lot of endodontists in our region.. So I paid for a sitter and paid for x-rays ($600) that I didn't need and they wasted my time. I felt so used and swindled by this company. I dont know if the receptionist has a quota to bring people in or communication training is lacking. Regardless I HIGHLY suggest finding another option if in an emergency scenario. I ended up finding an amazing endodontist in Beaverton that brought me in the next day and my experience was amazing. *The stars are only for the cleanliness of the office.
This clinic was a godsend!! Dr. Tina & her staff are absolute angels. So very compassionate & dedicated to my well-being. I came in with a very severe infection from some poor dental work I had recently had done & was told I needed to have 2 root canals. I healed very quickly from the root canals & the experience was relaxing. However the infection I came in with was so bad that I had to go back & have it drained 2 times. Dr. Tina took ever measure to ensure I was taken care of & that the infection resolved. They didn’t charge me for my follow up appointments or the draining & aftercare. They just wanted me to get better!!!! It was a long process. I have never had a better experience with a dental provider. I am recommending them to everyone I know.
I went in for a root canal today and I just want to share how pleased I was. I walked into a beautiful office, everything was very clean and I was greeted by a very friendly staff. I was checked in and almost immediately got into a chair. Kayla was super nice and walked me through everything that she was doing and continued to be extremely caring the entire visit. The same goes for Dr. Nguyen, she was extremely gentle and caring . She took great care fixing my tooth, as I felt no pain at all. I will definitely recommend Pacific Endodontics to anyone who needs a root canal. Thank you to everybody who helped me today!
