Nov 13, 2024 · Ori ZoharDr. Jacobson was my orthodontist back in 1989 and did a stellar job in straightening my teeth and massively improving my bite. He put in a permanent retainer behind my lower front teeth at the end of the treatment and it's served me well all of these years in keeping my teeth as straight as the day I got my braces off. He's my sister's current orthodontist and she mentioned me to Dr. Jacobson. He invited me back for a free checkup to see how everything's doing after all of these years. He's a very personable guy and was genuinely happy to see me after all these years. My retainer recently became detached (no fault of his) and I went back to him to have it fully removed and then rebonded. I'm very happy with the results. While there was a charge for this service, he did take a full set of x-rays at no charge for his records as well as giving me a DVD for my regular dentist to review. I should mention that my very first orthodontic treatment as a teenager was done by his predecessor, Dr. Ricketts, who was an extremely innovative pioneer in the field. Dr. Jacobson is a disciple of Ricketts and was very generous in performing my second treatment back in 1989. I have no hesitation in recommending him (and all of his wonderful staff) to anyone needing orthodontic treatment... he truly knows, and clearly enjoys, his craft.
