When you're running an hour behind call your patients and inform them instead of saying "oh we're running a little bit behind" everyone else's time is just as valuable to their lives as the doctors time is to his. Furthermore the doctors bedside manner is atrocious, joking about cutting someone open is not funny in any scenario.

I could not have had a better experience for an unwanted procedure. From the very beginning I experienced friendly professional staff! Dr gave me a thorough exam, shared options, and did not feel rushed. The day of the procedure went so smoothly and post op had no pain that Tylenol or advil managed. Excellent place!!! Can’t tell you anything but if you are in need for oral surgery go there! You will be well taken care of ❤️‍?

I had a terrible experience first thing in the door. The blonde lady at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. I physically brought records with me to make an appt bc I had a hard time getting the right records over. The blonde told me I needed more records. I asked if she could help me to get the records they needed. After proceeding to tell me no,she ended it by saying to me "I'm going to be so mad if I have to call them". It was unacceptable. She wouldn't help me. I thought it was about customer service. NOT this lady. And too bad she is the first thing someone sees when they walk in. Turned me so far off I never got the chance to review the back office. I am not one to generally post negative reviews ever, but after trying to resolve this in house, to no avail...I emailed and called management to inform them. I never got a phone call back or an email back. Terrible sad situation. I had a great experience about 10 years ago with my wisdom teeth, which is why I wanted to come back for my daughter. Not now. Terrible distasteful experience and no customer service. Bad review. Not a great experience. Since I cant reply to your response, I will attach a response here. Ms. Gayle, thank you for your prompt reply. The attached photo is a photo of the email I sent out after coming in and having this experience. This is the same day I called and left a message and came in as well. October 22, 2019. As you may have assumed, we went elsewhere for our care. Regardless, thank you for noting my concern and may someone or several someone's in the future not have the same experience. Thank you Jaclyn

I was called the week of surgery for my girls to be told that my dental insurance wasn’t going to work. I reached out to HR and was told the insurance was current, active and there should be no problem when I reach back out to Jennifer she was very hateful and unhelpful. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service and customer care. Needless to say, my girls will be getting their wisdom teeth removed somewhere else. I hope Jennifer is nicer to the next patient.

From start to finish, Oral Surgens of Springfield have been more than a care giving team for me. The staff made my insurance experience pleasant and understandable. I never knew that oral surgery could be as painless and seamless as Dr. Cornella, Jacklynn, and made it today. I would recommend them to any close friends and family.

I had multiple tooth extractions done on November 1, 2024. When I went in the office staff, nurses & Dr Cornella were all nice. They got me in on time and my surgery took less time then expected. I was taken out of the office in a wheelchair to my parents car and they even buckled me in since I was still groggy from anesthesia, but I came out of it fairly quick. I have had zero pain and mild discomfort. I was sent home with a extra gauze, an ergation tool, paper script for pain medicine and an after oral surgery care sheet. They even called me that afternoon to check up on me. Since I wasn't talking much they talked with my husband. He asked if I needed antibiotics. They said that Dr. Cornella checked for any infections and there were none. So there was no need for antibiotics. I never felt rushed, uncomfortable or like no one cared. I have ZERO complaints about anything that was done for me. Update 11-22-24 I had my 3 week post-op follow up today. Happy to say all is good. I only had a little bit on exposed bone that needed to be removed. The nurse applied numbing gel and Dr Cornella did a good job. I didn't feel any pain, I just a little discomfort during the process of getting the bone down where it needed to be. Still NO complaints from me.

The staff is nice, but Dr. Cornelia is not. He poked my gum until it bled and I wanted to cry and then they had a nervous send me a $50 bill. I am glad I went with a different oral surgeon.
