Oral Surgery Hawaii

I have been a patient at Oral Surgery Hawaii for many years. Everyone there is very professional. They make you feel welcome and are concerned about you in many ways, such as repeatedly asking if you are OK during procedures. Dr.Yamamoto is a highly skilled oral surgeon. When you receive care from him, you can be assured it will be done right.

In February 2023, I visited my primary dentist because I had broken my tooth. However, the unbroken part of the same broken tooth still remained rooted in my mouth. After a thorough consultation with my primary dentist, I decided to have my tooth replaced with a dental implant. My primary dentist referred me to Dr. Yamamoto of Oral Surgery Hawaii. March 2023, was my initial consultation with Dr. Yamamoto and his staff. Doctor and his staff were very courteous, professional and thorough in their explanation of the oral surgery procedure from start to finish, cost of procedure, post surgery care. They made sure all my questions were answered before making my final decision. Flashforward to October 11, 2024. Yes, 1 year and 7 months later, I finally made an appointment and had the procedure done. Upon arrival to Dr. Yamamoto's office, I was welcomed by one of his friendly dental technician and escorted to take an X-ray of my teeth. Shortly thereafter, I was escorted to a nearby room and was prepared for the surgery. Dr. Yamamoto entered the room and greeted me and began to administer local anesthesia, numbing the area of my broken tooth. The surgery began and about 10-15 minutes later, the surgery was completed. There was excellent communication between Dr. and his 2 technicians during the surgery which made things go smoothly. Absolutely NO PAIN or discomfort during the surgery. A final X-ray image was taken of my teeth and I was given post surgery care instructions by his dental technician. From my initial consultation in March 2023 to my actual surgery procedure in October 2024, all of my interactions with Dr. Yamamoto and his staff have been absolutely pleasant and professional throughout the whole process. They made me feel very comfortable and that I had nothing to worry about. In the reception room, as I looked at the accolades of Dr. Yamamoto and the other doctors of this office, I felt confident in my decision to have my surgery procedure done here at Oral Surgery Hawaii.
