I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Thoman and his assistants. They all calmed my nerves and made me feel super comfortable getting my wisdom teeth taken out. The assistant even put my favorite music on and was amazing at talking through everything she was doing. I also received a checkup call from Dr. Thoman that night to see how I was feeling. Definitely recommend coming here!

Open transparency is key for quality communication. Dr. Kofford takes time to explain the procedure, and in my case he under promised and over delivered which these days is incredible, if not rare. The support team members are quite happy there, and it shows. That too makes for a good experience. Oral surgery may not be fun, but it needn't be stressful. Dr. Kofford and team made the process practically stress free.

THANK YOU DR. KOFFORD for making this experience excellent & peaceful! Dr. Kofford is very compassionate and has excellent assistants and staff at Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery specialist. Dr. Kofford removed 2 wisdom teeth (& exposed a tooth) for my 14-year-old eight days ago. In December ’23 my 15-year-old had his wisdom teeth removed at another Colorado Springs oral surgeon’s office. The experience my child had with Dr. Kofford was by far the most excellent, honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this experience with Dr. Kofford. I actually called my dentist and let him know he should only refer his patients to Dr. Kofford, lol! My 16-year-old has even commented on how much better his sister is doing than his experience with a different surgeon in the Springs. Dr. Kofford put a timed-release pain medicine in my child’s gums (I believe it lasts for 3-4 days), prescribed a special mouth rinse to keep potential infection out, and prescribed antibiotics & more as his routine aftercare. (in all there were 4 prescriptions we were given to be filled before the surgery, I only used 2 of the prescriptions, but I had everything I needed to make it easier on my child). My child was wheeled in a wheelchair to our car by the recovery assistant & had a reusable sporty-looking wrap that went around my child’s head with icepacks right on her jaw where the teeth were removed. Also, I was concerned about the swelling on day 3 and I called the office, they were oh so kind to me- they made an appointment for me to come in right away for Dr. Kofford to look at. Everything was normal and fine. All in all, it was a stellar experience. Recovery has been easy, I’m not exaggerating. I felt obligated to "love my neighbor" by letting you know Dr. Kofford is worth the drive, effort, and money. Thank you, Dr. Kofford & everyone at your office are making the journey better!

Dr. Kofford and his staff were amazing turth be told! I had a very bad experience with a dentist when I was much younger and unfortunatley those memories remain strong to this day, I just hadn't realized it until I needed this work done. I was referred to Dr. Kofford from my dentist when I needed oral surgery performed bc I could be asleep during the procedure. This option sounded good but also a bit scary. It truly was a very positive experience for me. Dr. Kofford with his great sense of humor and his staff with their sweet kindness put me at ease straight away. They are very kind and patient as well as profficient and beyond knowledgable and skilled! I definitley reccomend Dr. Kofford and his team!
